We visited the water park on a recent trip to Algeciras.
My two boys had a great time; I have never seen my screen-addicted 11 year old so happy to be away from electronics and running around in the fresh air for such a prolonged period!
The water park is well maintained and the staff friendly and apparently very competent. As the park is fairly small it was easy to access all of the rides and they are a lot of fun.
Entry was good value, and the entry price seems to have been stable for a few years. However, as some other people have noted in their reviews, the park seems set up to make customers part with their money once inside. Queues for rides are not long, but with a deliberately limited number of inflatable rings for each ride, renting a personal float is pretty much essential. Recliners and umbrellas can be rented, but as the alternative would be sitting on concrete in the baking southern Spanish sun, it didn't really feel like they were optional extras so much as essentials.
It is OK to bring your own food and drink, but the prices are fair if you use the on-site facilities.
All in all, it was a good day out and we will be back, but I was left feeling that a slightly higher up front entry charge with fewer "optional" in-park charges would seem more fair.

First water park we have been to so not much to compare it too. Overall, we liked the way everything was quite close together so you didn’t have to walk for ages from slide to slide. Not a huge range of slides but more than enough for our family if 5. 2 adults, 3 adolescents. Because it was our first, it was a nice introduction to water parks. Not too scary, not too manic. You do need to pay extra for sun loungers, which you can’t avoid because you need somewhere to throw your bags, towels and rings (if you buy rings). We did buy rings to save queuing time but tbh there were not long queues when we were there, early July. You queue to be given a ring to down some of the slides so having one all the time means you don’t have to wait until they are available. Because of the other reviews we were well prepared for the additional costs, so thank you to the other reviewers. The adults were dreading the whole experience so with standards set low we were happier than we expected to be! Tip is, bring your own water and snacks if possible, buy a locker for valuables, €5 with a deposit of €5 on top of that and see what the queues are like before paying for separate rings. It seems the best age group for this water park might be 9/10 year olds because they can use the kids area and the older kids area too.

After paying 75 euro family entrance for a relatively small park we got surprised as we need to pay for beds (as the employee said we can also sit on the floor), but the biggest joke was we need to pay for a tube 10 euros. There where tubes but not enough, so most customers paid for the tube. The park was clean but queit small which caused at least 10 min waiting in the sun when you go on a slide. But the most anoying was the staff, hardly speaks english and a face without a smile, get another job if you donot like it!

Absolutely appalling customer service.

Booked online via their website. For 2 adults 3 children. Cost around 100 euros which was fine.

When I got there they said I had brought the wrong tickets as my 2 daughters are teenagers and a younger child who is 9 and this classed as 4 adults. I didn't moan I just paid the extra even though the guy was so rude to me about purchasing the wrong tickets I don't speak good enough Spanish to complain. So tried to go in the guy then told me I had to pay for an extra ticket. I said no I've paid for a family and 1 child and now I've paid another 30 euros to change them all to adults. He then complained and told me I was wrong. A manager got called and he just told me to go through.

Once through my girls where told they were not allowed on any of the water slides due to the material of their swim suits. The man then started shouting at them in Spanish complaining they didn't speak Spanish. So much so a Spanish lady in the que ended up helping them and translated. Upset my children came down and ended up going on nothing except the small water pool.We tried to get food but the selection was limited so we just got sandwiches and drinks and then was over charged by nearly 20 euros. When i tried complaining they acted like they didn't understand what I was saying. All in all a cplete waste of money. Id never recommend coming here. Terrible...

Where to begin, the entrance fee was 100 euros for a small family, upon entering the park, we were greeted by the requirement to purchase rubber tubes, for 7 euros each plus a 5 euro deposit. After these had been purchased, we had to pay 10 euros for a sunbed, as well as a further 10 for the WiFi, utter joke seeing as the rides were less than average, crowded, and extortionate. Would not recommend

Overall a great day out.

The rides are pretty tame compared to those in the massive US or Caribbean parks, but the costs are much, much lower. 2 adults and 2 teenagers (13 & 17). €88 entry, €20 to hire a couple of double rings to pretty much eliminate what queuing there was, €6 for 2 loungers and a parasol (we were using 4 loungers but only charged for 2), under €10 for 2 coffees 3 waters and a soft drink. Didn't try the food.

Not super busy, despite it being a Friday during school holidays and tourist season... virtually no queuing all day, so easy to do multiple runs on the favorite rides. Under an hour from Marbella with easy access from the A7.

Had the most fun time here at Bahia Park. I felt like a big kid again 😂
Lots to do for all ages, slides for everyone, jacuzzi for adults only, entertainment provided and wave pool. Zip slide, monkey bars and canon slide. Plenty beds available even on a busy day which it was when I was there. Drinks and food a little expensive as expected so if you want to make it a little cheaper take a cool bag with food and drinks. Also u can wait for dingys by the end of slides but if u don't want to wait u can hire them for 10€ pay 15€ and get 5€ back on return. All in all had a great time and going back this weekend 🙌

This park is simply one of the best in 'its class' and don't be mistaken - it is not the Dubai Wild Wadi nor the Atlantis at the Palm . These 2 are in a different class altogether.

We arrived at 1pm on Thur Aug 15th with our 3 kids (7, 10 & 15) and their 2 cousins (5 & 9) and their parents. Paid Euro 72 and they paid 52.

This park is small but very well designed and very well managed. Very friendly, helpful, and cheerful staff, yet when it comes to safety, very assertive and firm. They were present everywhere and all the rides, slides and pools were properly supervised - very safety conscious indeed. AND most of them spoke a bit of English!

Unless you are really adventurous there are plenty of rides, pools, play fountains, children's paddling pools and even stage entertainment for everyone. If I can remember correctly there are 7 water slides with varying degree of speed, length, slope and scariness + a big pool with waves operating at various intervals + little slides for the little ones and other little pools.

The grassed terraced picnic area was great - plenty of tree shading and even some privacy!
Alternatively, one can eat at the bottom of the terraces with benches and tables fully shaded.

On stage , facing the wave's big pool , there were character performers (Dora the Explorer & Tweety Pie ) with a DJ dancing & singing and leading the dancing crowds in the pool. Entertaining party like music was played all day - carnival a la fiesta all over!.

Tips & info:
1. The park is great for everyone but mainly aimed and suited for children and perhaps teenagers up to the age of 16 - they can spend all day without being bored. Still very much enjoyable for older children and adults alike but I would say for a max of 4-5 hours.

2. Parking is free and plenty of it.

3. Food quality & pricing (4 , 6 and 8 euros for diff sizes) is reasonable and pretty decent but mostly burgers, Kebabs and chips.

4. Slashes cost around Euro 3.70 but you can refill for 2.70 and ice creams cost Euro 3.50.

5. You are allowed to take your own drinks and food and there are great grassed picnic areas + benches.

6. Went in midweek and the park was almost full - hence try to avoid weekends to avoid queuing for the slides.

7. There are lockers - but pretty small.

8. As for the inflatables (donuts) used for the slides you can either wait for 5 to 10 minutes until you get one or you can rent one all day for 5 Euro. Better rent!.

9. For 2 sun loungers + an umbrella it will cost you 5 Euros.

Room for improvement - inside the park I would say the floor tiles around the areas where the 7 slides start is a bit slippery with algae developing and I saw a couple of kids falling - this needs thorough regular cleaning to avoid any nasty accidents. Outside the park - since the park is in Algeciras city itself but surrounded by several A7 / N340 interchanges it's not that easy to find as there are no signs on the road - a few billboard signs would be a great help within a radius of 1km.

As we were leaving the park I had already decided to give a rating of 4 out 5 but saw something that changed my mind. This gentleman in front of me was struggling to walk and his family were trying to help him. Next an attendant appeared from nowhere and told the man to wait! I decided to wait and see what happened! A few minutes later the attendant returned with a Golf Buggy and gave the man a ride up to the car park! This was truly moving.

All of us thoroughly enjoyed our day and the kids in particular can't wait to go back again.

Full marks to the designers - full marks to the management - and above all full marks to staff. Keep going and keep improving!.

As they say 'Small can be beautiful after all!' .

WILL BE BACK!

Getting to the water park is not as clear as it could be! And the turn off can be missed easily so check the directions.
Once there its a pleasant place clean and quite well laid out loads of sun shades around so no shortage. Prices are competitive food is ok for a park -and not too expensive. Its our family preferred park even though
Its further away. Than fuengirola or malaga parks
