This castle stands majestically above the town. We were on a group visit and had guides who gave us the history. They were very knowledgeable about the history and spoke excellent English. There are lots of rooms in the castle to see with very old...More

In a wanderful position, has a nice view on surrowndings. Well kept (revamped some years ago). There is a permanent armory with arms on show. You can reach it on foot.

This castle is one off the most beautiful castles in Slovenia. It is definitely worth visiting it if you are near by.

Admission is very cheap for what is offered. Everything is well laid out and clean. The furniture adds a lot to the effect and the collection is very impressive. You won't forget the view in a hurry.
