We bought 2 tickets for Sinaia Museum (Stirbey Castle) and Casino, we visited the museum and we ran to the Casino, but we were not allowed to enter the building because we were late only 2 minutes and the guide already began the tour. Horrible "welcoming".

This old Casino looks astounding. Beautiful architecture ans set in a very nice little park next to an old and luxurious hotel. It has great history and it's worth a visit with a guided tour. The architecture inside is wonderful and you kinda go back to the days when they played poker or roulette here. At the end of the tour you have some little and wonderful art galleries and also a good small cafe. This building is also used for important conferences.…

This place is amazing. It was build in 7 months only, although his last renovation lasted 3 years but it is a pretty big building and the building time is record. 7 months together with the Hotel nearby which actually are linked through hidden underground passage closed for visiting. As the guide says, it is an imagination exercise because it does not look at all as it used to but still it is very beauiful. And its history it's being written by a lot of important romanian names. The furniture and all decorative objects are very fastuos and you can see a lot of donated paintings from painters who had their exhibitions supported by the casino staff. Always there a few exhibitions open for visiting withs sales too and another permanent exhibition of painter Augustin Costinescu who donated around 100-200 painters to the casino. That is a lot. Oh, and there is also a small coffee shop before entering the temporary exhibition. We did not have anything there but it has a very strong, in a good way, smell of coffee. Very nice. Staff very friendly and prices are decent Trully recommend.…
