You will not forget the view from it. Also, when you get on the top , the view makes you forget the cold outside. I bet it is almost as beautiful to see it even if it is summer.

Visited with friends. Very short waiting times for cars. Views and air excellent. Would recommend. One note though. Judging by the amount of food left on the tables I don’t think the food on the first level is to Western European tastes

It is fast it gets you up the mountain to start your adventure. It is actually affordable and for the trekkers out there you can get down at 1400 and do a proper trek through the mountains.

We got there by accident after taking the wrong way but didn’t regret. Gondola is well maintained and clean, not busy. We went all the way up to Cota 2000. Amazing views. I would go back any time.

You can take a private tour by car from Sinaia to Piatra Arsa Chalet. (See page Carpathian Tour Guide on Facebook) There, at Piatra Arsa, you can have an easy walk to Babele, 1h. It is a beaten track.
