We are a team of experienced riders,Spanish and Romanian, with more than ten years of bike riding, with great knowledge of the places you are about to visit. Our trips are made in some remote areas in the north side of Transylvania, at the connection with Bucovina and Maramures, two historical regions of Romania. We offer mtbiking, cycling, cultural, photography and nature private tours.

On a somewhat whirlwind trip to Transylvania with my 12-year-old son, we were able to enjoy two outings with Calin and his Carpathian dreams team, cycling and walking through Bucovina and to Lake Colibita. The experience was unforgettable. Not only because of the landscape. Thanks to Calin, we were able to discover the environment and the natural wealth of the area with peace of mind and with extensive information of all kinds. I have yet to repeat and expand my trip through the Carpathians when I return to Transylvania.

We are two friends and went on a bike ride in the Carpathian area near Colibita lake area in the north of Romania. Calin was a great instructor and companion. He is a true professional, has a wide knowledge of the area and customized the track to our personal needs very nicely. Calin took care of everything related to the bike trip and was always available with any question we had. I warmly recommend anyone who wants to experience the wild natural views of România on wheels to contact Carpathian Dreams.

We (a group of 10 people from vatious countries) did a 5 days MTB Trip in the Carpatians. The selection of trails by Calin and his colleagues was really nice, very professional guiding with excellent communication before and during the rides, with interesting explanations on history/nature. Everything was perfectly organized, nice guesthouses, very tasty food, Professional Mechanic on the trip. Absolutely recommended if you want to explore the Carpatians by Mountain Bike.

Big shout out to CarpathianDreams. We had an amazing week riding the Carpathian Mountains in Romania. If you fancy the same get in touch with Calin at CarpathianDreams. Calin reserved all our accommodation and planned the GPS routes for us. Calin will cater specifically to the type of riding you want to do and stays in touch with you throughout. Great routes and big scenery. Calin also came out for a ride with us and got huge knowledge of the area, history etc... Sadly we didn't see any bears or wolfs but they probably did see us 😳... did run into some wild boar and lots of very friendly Romanians

Its been such a great trip. Everything was perfect. We enjoyed a lot the experience, not only for the routes and places where we stayed, but for our guide Calin, who was a great person and always willing to help.

It was a wonderful hiking experience with stunning views to the Colibita lake and the surrounding mountains!
Calin is an enthusiastic guide and speaks perfectly English. He was well informed and provided very good and detailed. He was very helpful for my stay in Bistrita. He gave me useful contacts and recommendations about activities in this area.

Professional, patient, attentive and informative guiding by Calin, accompanied by his colleagues Cristian and Marcos, both being competent bike mechanics and extremely skilled mtb riders: a perfect task force for our memorable five days mtb tour in the beautiful Carpathian mountains. The winter was fantastic, snow just enough! We really enjoyed it and the drive up to the point we wanted to go, was ok, not too bad. Overall a lovely experience!
