Visit the church, gift shops and have a meal. Lighthouse is worth a visit, but walk there and back (steep). Sitio is high up and you need a head for heights...but views are brilliant. Take the elevator down to Nazare and back...very cheap

Wow! Amazing views around this place. Stunning! Praia Norte, the village and the Ocean, a full 180 degrees view of all. When there are huge big waves it is a great place to see the surfers. Quite windy.

The light house, the place of the highest wave, is worth a visit. The whole location with the restaurants around it is lovely.

If one looks beyond the frankly outstanding views of the coastline, there is actually quite a lot more to Sitio than immediately meets the eye. The church, rebuilt in 1377, known as the Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Nazaré (Church of Our Lady of Nazaré)...More

Its not very lively here. Farol de nazare is the attraction. There is 1 hotel close to that, so for a photographer it would be perfect
