Nice trip down lake on a wet day. Got lucky with guide who gave us history (bit tragic really) of lake and its inhabitants. Great views to enjoy

A really beautiful and atmospheric lake. At the quaint town of Stryn I asked the woman at the Tourist Information which was the best to visit, Lovatnet, or its twin lake Oldevatnet. She said, Lovatnet is a French film; Oldevatnet a Hollywood film. We visited...More

Stunning, there are really no words to describe this and other local Fjords. Steep cliffs. blue and green water, glaciers! Amazing. And the air is so fresh. Everyone should get to see these places at least once in their lives.

Sailed through the lake during a glacier viewing excursion from a cruise ship. Everything was top quality. Perfect weather, blue/green water, spectacular scenery, interesting history with tragic events involving landslides, tsunamis and fatalities, glaciers, waterfalls, woodland. Simply perfect – Norway at its very, very best.
