We visited belvedere house in July and despite there being showers during the day we had a wonderful time. The grounds are divine with wonderful smaller gardens hidden around each corner. Favourite for the kids was the fairy garden which is just magical for the younger ones. The zip line beside the lake was also a big hit and because... More

A fine old house and gardens steeped in history. Lots of species of plant life and great walks and of course the jealous Wall. Have been here lots of times and will definitely go again. Lots of events are hosted here from garden shows to Cathaoirleacth awards also operation transformation. Great all round family fun or romantic walks.

Good walled gardens, nice walks in the grounds, great coffee and cakes in the cafe but the house was disappointing. There was good information about the house but the lack of furniture did disappoint.

Touring this property was an education in history and jealousy. Family feud fueled by a folly wall blocking views between brothers - such a hoot!

A hidden gem a few miles from Mullingar. We visited on a summers day and had a great time exploring the gardens, house and the very lovely "fairy garden". The gardens contain a great many species, the lakeside location is stunning. Well worth a visit.

Great place spend few hours. Nice walks round lakes and wooded areas. Small play areas along the walks and a zip wire. Cafe on site. Nice food. Kids menu. A little congested at ordering till areas. Maybe menu tables and orders taken there would flow better. Enjoyable day
