Average attraction. Cafe bad food, rude staff and way overpriced not worth crossing the gate. Spent two hours here which is unfortunately time I can never get back.

A very pleasant Palladian House. Not such a nice story about the owner. The gardens and views are spectacular. The house is interesting in particular the kitchen with the gossip from the cook!!!! All well put together.

Perfect place for any kind of day, interesting walks, by the lake, great views either before or after a coffee and cake. Changing scenery and regular events. My dog and I enjoy visiting. 👣🐾👣🐾

Not the biggest or most historical of houses ... indeed it was a hunting lodge and not an ancestral home. But beautifully situated .. Enjoy a gentle stroll in the gardens, or a hefty walk around the grounds....a lovely afternoon guaranteed
