Once part of the estate of the Portumna castle, this forest is a good place to see deer. A decent pick-nicking spot.

I love this park, it has a great variety of trees, and the well maintained paths wander through the forest. It is full of wildlife and on my last visit last autumn I saw dozens of our native red squirels plus lots of bird life.

Lovely scenery and you can take in the key parts in two hours or so. The trails are well marked and level. Good for cycling and walking.
