About 75 minutes from Reykjavik...along the golden classic route. Dodgy roads before the laugurvatn spa. Friendly service, super clean. Impressive spa complex and much cheaper and quieter than the blue lagoon

Really nice set of geothermal baths and pools. Series of 5 or 6 pools, you can jump in the lake too. Although we didn't eat the cafe, that looks really great too.

Time lines are pretty relaxed there. People just want to enjoy their vacation and the staff is well aware. They were excellent. I’m just not sure I would want to eat then have a massage on a full stomach.
