This has made the list of top 10 things I've done in my life. We were there on a stormy day and the lake was very rough. There are 2 hot pools right on the lake but you have to walk to them. Sitting at the edge, watching the fierce lake, was awesome. At some point I went into the lake, very cold but doable in September, then quickly climbed out and back into the hot tub. When we were there it wasn't too crowded and it was around dusk.

An incredible place to relax in, surrounded by nature. Very nicely designed and beautiful. A bit weird that they offer you a welcoming drink that you cannot enjoy in the pool, even though other drinks can be bought in the pool. But definitely worth the one time experience.

Great place all day, but especially for the sunset. The water is not chlorinated and therefore perfect for your skin. We did enjoy as well to jump in the cold lake and then relax in the hot pools next to it. If you want to be alone and enjoy the silence of nature - don't go there! You might disturb other people while having fun and being positive. :)

Loved this place! Unique location, close to nature. Floating pools in the lake (also accessible to get in the cold water - recommenced!), great views, lovely warm pools and a great bar with service from the pool. Smart armbands to both the lockers and for payment in the bar. Of all baths we visited in Iceland, this was our favorite!

This place has spectacular architecture and a beautiful view, but that’s it. You get the good experience and a real swimming pool for only 5 Euros at the local swimming pool in Egilstadir. This was not breathtaking for me, sorry.
