Facilities were great and staff helpful. I really enjoyed my visit to the nature baths - relaxing hot mineral waters with a light snow. Might be a different experience in summer with peak crowds

I’ve been to the nature baths a few times now and I always enjoy the visit. It is not as crowded and expensive as the Blue Lagoon and the view is better as well. It is very relaxing, especially after a hike around the area.

This was our alternative to Blue Lagoon which we estimated as being more crowded. They were very organized here and it was enjoyable. We were there for about an hour and a half. Prices were better than in Reykjavik but still are getting their pound...More

This is on the other side of the country from Reykjavik, about 4-5 hours of driving along the Ring Road. There are no buses, but you could fly from Reykjavik to Akureyri and rent a car or take a tour bus from there.
