Relatively easy walk uphill includes steps. Can drive as well. Very tastefully done, includes the names of the deceased and tells the story of this tragic incidence rite of the site of it's occurrence.

If you have free time whilst touring Kalavrita, this monument to the heroes of the Greek war of independence is worth a visit.

It's a great monument of the execution that took place in 1943, were most of the adult males of the town were executed by the German army. Impressive enough to remember, strong enough to even cry.
