Pleasant hour on the water

The tour of Beaver Lake is plesant enough, but don't go expecting to see spectaculas scenery or amazing natural sites. If you are not the outdoorsy type this may be a great way to view nature. The boat tour was more akin to a pleasant walk through the woods, but without the benefit of getting any exercise. If I had... More

The captain did not have his helper so he had to run back and slow the engine or make a turn, then come back in the front for more historical banter. Unfortunately, we also had to endure political jokes and opinions and listen to his liberal agenda. Business owners should be smart enough not to antagonize their customers. We paid... More

The weather was nice although we missed the prime fall colors. Some trees were changing and the guide pointed out the variety, etc. We saw interesting waterfowl and eagles, a sun dog, and some local culture. The boat is owned and operated by a nice couple, she guides and he captains. I was a little disappointed by the new development... More

The boat ride itself was very nice and the tour guide's knowledge of the area was also very good but the constant political opinions were enough to make me want to jump overboard! The Guide shouldn't use this PAID boat ride to have a "trapped" audience for him to spout his personal opinions. KEEP YOUR POLITICAL OPINIONS TO YOURSELF! I... More

I wish we had skipped this tour. We actually paid this guy to lecture us on liberal politics and we were totally trapped unless we wanted to swim back to shore. My advice is to skip this one and take the train tour, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

The captain and boat ride were really nice. He gives a lot of information and overall the boat ride was really gentle. The price is a bit high (25 a person) for an 1:15 ride and you better show up early because they will leave without you. Overall enjoyable, but I'm not sure if it's worth the price tag.

Spent an hour and fifteen minutes on Beaver lake and learned quite a bit of history while on the cruise. The Captain knows his history of the area and I for one learned a lot. The trip is worth while and you won't regret going.

This was our second trip to Eureka Springs and our second trip on the Belle of the Ozarks. We enjoy the leisurely trip and the information that was given is very informative.

We had no idea what to expect but had a great time, the weather fully cooperated, pretty blue skies scenery everywhere you looked, camera opportunities galore, it was a very smooth trip even crossing wakes it is a good size boat so not so prone to rocking when hitting wakes, the tour was 1 hour and 15 minutes, we had...
