It's a church. Looks big from the outside, but the inside wasn't that much. Long steep walk to get there and to the over-priced gift shop. If you're Catholic, you'll probably love it, but otherwise--ho-hum.

The St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church stands just outside of the grounds of the Crescent Hotel and Spa in Eureka Springs, AK. Completed in 1909, this is one of the smallest yet most beautiful and serene churches I have ever seen. At 9,Noon and 3 O'Clock each day the church carillon bells chime, making the experience of being there even more wonderful.

We finally found the church. It is below the Crescent Hotel, one road down. The grounds are kept neat and clean. Lovely plants and bushes surround the church. The stained glass windows are beautiful. We did go inside and sit for a few moments. Very peaceful. Beautiful little church. Several members were getting the church ready for Easter Sunday, working... More

A cool church with a unique way to enter into the church itself. Entering through the bell tower is definitely different from others. I only wish that is was a little more advertised. I was at the Cresent Moon hotel and had no idea it was right there.

We visited Eureka Springs with a group of girlfriends, none of us are Catholic but found the church to be beautiful, reverent and deserving of a respectful visit. The stained glass windows are gorgeous, the grounds are beautiful, and the building is also beautiful and seems to be lovingly maintained.

Very pretty hand built church. Historic and listed in Ripley's believe it or not as the only church you enter through the bell tower in the US. Lovely Italian marble statuary of the stations of the cross. Beautiful stained glass. Just steps from The Crescent Hotel.

Enjoyed looking around this peaceful, beautiful Catholic church near the Crescent Hotel. The stained glass windows were especially pretty.

This was a quaint little church. What we loved the most was the statues of the 'stations of the cross'.

We love visiting beautiful Catholic churches when we travel. This one did not disappoint. I can't believe we missed it last time we were here and we were standing just up the hill on the balcony at The Crescent Hotel. Parking can be difficult like everywhere else in Eureka Springs. The streets are so steep and narrow! Help support by... More
