My friend and I went on an early morning hike this past weekend on the Lake Leatherwood Loop, aka Fuller Trail. It was really pretty and shaded for the most part by the trees. I would definitely categorize it as moderate difficulty with elevation changes...More

Took a drive down and hiked around; they have an office to rent paddle boats, kayaks, canoes. Good place to camp or picnic!

We spent an entire day hiking the many miles of frees trails. It's a great spot for those who enjoy the outdoors. We will definitely go back with kayaks & poles and enjoy the lake next time.

We had a great day at the lake even though it rained on us twice while we were there. The staff was super friendly and helpful. My husband and older son fished while I hiked around the lake with our younger son. Perfect family outing.

I agree with the other answer too. The lake is really beautiful but no shore line for much of anything. Not the right place to have a wedding at
