About
See and learn about Eureka Springs, up close and personal on our open-air, trolley style trams. Each tour is fully narrated by a fun, knowledgeable local guide. The tour makes 2 stops. First stop is a the 1886 Crescent Hotel, where there will be ample time to look around inside and outside the hotel, as well as enjoying the view of the beautiful Ozark mountains and the Christ of the Ozarks Statue. The second stop is at one of the historic cold water springs. The tram is "covered" but open on the sides. This makes it great for being able to see the beautiful homes, buildings, limestone walls and sidewalks and the tree covered hillsides throughout this amazing historic district. Find out, too, why Robert Ripley, of Ripley's Believe it Or Not, called Eureka Springs one of the 10 Most Unusual Towns he ever visited in the United States.

My husband and I went on a tour 6/13/21 and loved it. I love history and he loves architecture so this was perfect. Walking and driving around town twice for several days each time exploring different sites yet we learned more on this hour tour than all the exploring we did on our own. Definitely worth the money and our narrator was a great local guy who really knew his stuff!

I would highly recommend this tour as an introduction to Eureka Springs and a relaxing way to see the surroundings up close. Our guide is a native to the area and shared some good insights and personal stories; sometimes too much for my taste. Some of the dialogue felt like a sales pitch for certain businesses and I would have preferred straight-up history. Also, way too long of a stop at the Crescent Hotel since there is no disembarking, and being a hot day one side of the tram was in the direct sun way too long. All in all, a very nice way to spend an hour and a half and learn some fun things about a beautiful town. Reasonably priced, the tram driver was very cautious and drove slowly so you could take in the sights.

Our guide was very informative and knowledgeable about the history of Eureka Springs as he had lived here all of his life. We enjoyed seeing the beautiful Victorian buildings along the route. When we stopped at the Crescent Hotel, our son had to go to the bathroom and our guide asked one of the workers if he would allow our boy to use their bathroom. The only complaint was that when we stopped it wasn’t very pleasant due to the heat and we couldn’t always hear our guide. I would recommend sitting near the front of the tram so you can hear everything that’s said.

Every visitor should take this tour, preferably before going anywhere else. The guide had great information about the city and there were a couple of places you got out to see the view of the valley and the springs. You get a good look at all the historic houses without having to drive the narrow streets. The only way I ever want to see them!

We highly recommend doing the tram tour at the start of your stay in Eureka Springs. It's a good way to learn about the history of the city and also to scope out where you might want to visit/shop/dine during the rest of your stay.

Our guide, Timothy, was very knowledgeable and very funny!

This is a very informative, fun, interesting ride through the beautiful historic Eureka Springs. The guy doing the narration has lived there 70 years and knows everything you would need to know about Eureka Springs. I highly recommend this tour.

Did the 3 pm on a busy hot Saturday tour. It was pretty full, but most families had seats to themselves. The history part was good, but would have liked a bit more . The town is very quaint with many beautiful Victorian homes that are now mostly bed and breakfasts. Got to stop at some of the springs and stopped by the Crescent Hotel, but were not able to go in due to COVID, they don't want that large of a group inside. You can go visit later on your own. It was a very hot day, and sitting on the plastic seats made you drip with sweat, so keep that in mind. Not many wore masks due to the heat either.

Our tram tour was wonderful, and our guide was so engaging and funny. He was so knowledgeable about the town and seemed to really enjoy what he does. He talked about 9 generations of his family being in Eureka Springs. We truly enjoyed this tour.

We learned so much about Eureka Springs and it's history during the tour. The architecture and homes are beautiful.

Our tour guide did an awesome job keeping us entertained and with his knowledge of the city.
Unfortunately we could not get out at the Crescent Hotel to look around during the tour. The guide explained that the tour times were also around the same time for hotel check in and having a group that size come in at once would be overwhelming for the staff. He did say that the hotel welcomed us to come look at the hotel on our own time.

I would suggest the 1pm tour to avoid heavier traffic with cars coming in and out for the 3pm tour.

Despite a freak driving snowstorm on April 20, 2021 we had a terrific time with our tour guide, Christie Braswell, a genuinely proud and enthusiastic native of Eureka Springs. We loved her many personal anecdotes, such as pointing out the various steep streets she used to sled down as a child. What a beautifully quaint and relatively unknown jewel of a town you have! The only regret was not having the opportunity to tour the interior of the Crescent Hotel, no doubt restricted due to the weather and COVID-19. Otherwise, we loved all the Victorian architecture and especially the historical expertise and personal knowledge Christie provided all throughout the tour. We highly recommend this tour, especially as you initially arrive!
