This isn’t a “scare the pants” off you tour, it is an historic tour with spooky stories and fun experiences. Our guidelines was very knowledgeable and a great storyteller. Our kids (11 and 13) really enjoyed this as did us parents. We got to meet...More

The tour guide was friendly. The hotel is eerie, especially the morgue. Interesting history. I was hoping to be actually scared on the tour and I wasn't, but can't complain.

This was a good tour and was pretty interesting. You get to see parts of the hotel that your wouldn't get to see otherwise. Its definitely worth doing.

My husband and I travel to many small towns and always take their ghost tours. We have been to many others that were better than this one. I expected more from the most hunted hotel in America. And definitely if you do the ghost tour,...More

We didn’t stay in the hotel unfortunately but came for the haunted tour. This tour was fantastic! The guide was very knowledgeable and fun. The hotel is a sight to see even with out the haunted past, and we cannot wait to come back and...More

We ate pizza at the fourth floor bar before taking the fun hotel tour. Flossie was our guide and she was interesting and knowledgeable about the history of this beautiful building. I truly enjoyed the 90 minutes we spent with the group.

Was really looking forward to this tour the whole trip, loved this hotel and the tour. Even bought the autographed book down in the gift shop full of stories from the tour guides not told on the tours...highly recommend!

The old saying, 3 Strikes and You're Out, is the case here! For the better part of the past 13 years, this tour was my 'Go To' for all my out of town guests that would come to visit Northwest Arkansas. It was an awesome...More

A local told us this tour can be good.....depending on your tour guide. It was interesting hearing the history and seeing the different areas of the hotel since we did not stay there. Our tour guide was monotone and boring, no emotion. Too pricey for...More

After taking this tour it's hard to go to sleep!!! Especially if you're staying in room #218 ( affectionately known as Michael's room). This hotel has a crazy interesting past... and this tour is great for history buffs as well!!! So FUN!!!!

You can wander the hotel public spaces as you like, but you need to be on a tour to see the most haunted room (if it is not booked) and the former morgue at the bottom. And you will miss the ghost story telling, which was... More

Logical home base for NW AR Thanksgiving trip (3 Replies)
Hey y'all from an AR resident! I've trolled through here & still not sure on my issue; Hoping I can get some input on the itinerary I'm trying to pull together, especially since the dates are less than a month away now! Our family of 4 (Hubby & I are 40, college 18 yr-old daughter & 9 yr old sassy girl) decided last year to do a decent little "Staycation" over Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday as an alternative to a bunch of money spent on gifts....Nowhere too far, a decent...More

Typically, I'd recommend Fayetteville as your "base." Seeing there is a football game the Friday after Thanksgiving Day, perhaps farther north is a better solution. Hotels in F'ville *may* sold out (yes, there are still some die-hard Razorback fans...now, if we lose another game you may have no problem finding a hotel:} ) In F'ville, you could spend time walking Dickson St ( there are several shops that girls really like!) and the Square. It will be Lights of the Ozarks time--the Square is...More
