As an architect, this building was a must-see for me. It did not disappoint! The siting, the design, the materials, the ambience. All could enjoy it, the ones with a artistic background and the ones without. The beauty of this masterpiece shouts out. I love that you can enter, seat yourself, and click away to your heart's content.

Took a side trip here from Eureka Springs, not very far to go to see such a visual wonder. 425 windows and over 6,000 sq ft of glass, in a woodland setting, make this a very contemplative place to visit. Would highly recommend a visit.

You cannot help but be inspired when you visit this beautiful chapel. The setting is in the woodlands of the Ozark mountains and this location is as peaceful as it gets. The architecture of the chapel itself is positively amazing, consisting of huge amounts of glass which allow you to view the forest and wildlife from within at almost any... More

4 of us visited This beautiful place just outside of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. A magnificent 48 ft. tall glass chapel where services are held every Sunday. Over 6,000 sq. feet of glass windows add to this sanctuary in the woods. Easy walk even for aged.

My son & I traveled from central Kansas just to view this chapel. We had planned on attending Sunday morning service there but was greatly disappointed that when we pulled up to the front gate, there were two sign on a closed gate - "Closed" and "Wedding guests only - Do not Walk in" Whoever heard of having a wedding... This glass chapel was nestled in a woody area and was surrounded by a peaceful setting. Walking up to the chapel was beautiful, but once inside it was so relaxing. The music that was playing helped set the atmosphere. The attendant was very helpful and handed out a brochure that was informative. Great place to renew your soul!

Pretty chapel in the middle of the woods. glad we only drove 10 minutes from our cottage for this. Super peaceful and tranquil. I can imagine it would be beautiful for weddings. Not sure it is worth a big trip and glad it was not the only thing we were in town for.

Visiting the Thorncrown Chapel was one of the highlights of our trip to Eureka Springs. I don't know how anyone would be able to concentrate on a service with such beautiful nature surrounding this place.
