Went swimming here with my 10yo grandson and we had a great time. We are from NC but would consider coming back here in the future to stay at a cabin on the lake

Beautiful lake and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Quiet. Enjoyed a boat ride on the lake. Currently it’s about 30 feet higher than usual.

We didn't stay here, but we went swimming in the lake. The swimming area as clean, the water was clear, and the little fish come right up to your toes!

The history of the dam and when it was built was very informative. There is a nice view of the dam and part of the river below.

What a beautiful place God has made. The water is breath-taking and looks like the ocean. We are looking to go back with kids!

There were plenty of places to swim, camp and plenty of room for boating. The water was such a beautiful color of aqua.

We took the Belle of the Ozarks boat tour on Beaver lake and the woman in charge was so kind and told a lot of history. Boat was not what we were expecting but it was still an amazing time!

The campsites I have seen are right on the lake and operated by the Corps of Engineers. I have no experience with the campsites.

Oh, and we purchased it directly from an Army Corps of Engineers park ranger. That's the issuing agency. Hope this helps.
