It takes 15 min by car to reach this special site with a long history (told on displays). It has small boats along the Ribe Å inland and from the top a fine view to the marshes.

It was interesting to look briefly at the system of sluice gates that protect the town of Ribe from the sea. Very good view out to the estuary with the city of Esbjerg on the horizon.
