The faithful often start their day from worshiping Ganesh and it is a place to visit for the people from the neighborhood. We walked by it and it caught our attention. Small but very active temple.

I have to pit this here as 'Pin Bahal Pokhari isn't mentioned on Trip Advisor.
If you make it to this Ganesh shrine then you are 5 minutes away from the above mentioned pond/lake. Mentioned in the Lonely Planet this place is worth checking out. The pond is the size of a soccer pitch do you'll know when you find it.
With your back to the Ganesh temple, don't walk towards the Patan Gate, don't walk back towards the Durbar sq. Take the other road south west, and you'll be there in under 5 minutes.

Though a good temple popular with the locals, can be visited if one has some tie to spare. A bit of the walk from the durbar square.
