This is a great place to view the surrounding area and also to see wildlife. The weather is cooler when it is hot in the river valley. It is also used as a Launching point for hang gliders.

Mt. Nebo was our third park stop. I was suprised at how many houses are at the top, but the views did not disappoint. The rim trail was my families favorite hike of the whole trip.

This little adventure started out from the beginning of Highway 155 in Dardanelle, Arkansas. I knew that the length of recreational trailers was limited to 24 feet, but, after all, I had no trailer to pull. Obviously, I didn't filter out the rest of the...More

We were a bit disappointed to see all the houses at the top of Mt Nebo State Park. We enjoy state parks because of the natural areas and views. Mt Nebo State Park was full of houses which took away from the natural beauty. There...More

We had the BEST time camping here. Only campers under 24 ft are recommended to travel up the mountain. The kids loved our camping spot, right next to the playground. The rim trail is absolutely beautiful. Such wonderful staff, very helpful. The boys really loved...More

You will have a view from that site. It will not be as good as the view from the outer campsites (15 appears to be an inner site) but they are honestly just feet away from one another. You will be very close to the rim.
