I spent one day in this small island, an ideal place to relax your mind away from the city. With only 200 pesos you have access to the island, not to much for this little paradise!
One of the best places for snorkeling and diving in Anilao, clear water a lot of fish and coral (in the Philippines there are better places for this kind of activities).

The island gains popularity these days so guest are flocking the area. The beachfront is crowded with boats, swimming is nearly imposible. Fresh water is scarce..Be ready to line up in the bathroom for hours and if water is no longer available when its your turn , just sleep without taking a bath.

the waters are clear with corals and some marine creatures just below the shallow area, ideal for snorkeling and diving activities..waves tend to be stronger in the afternoon (but i enjoyed sitting on its stony area and just wait the waves to hit me, i find it very relaxing).
the island is very small (white sand but with rough dead corals) surrounded with waters, great for a quick and tranquil escape from city life.
sad to say, there are irresponsible visitors who just come and leave traces (trashes) which make people disappointed. honestly, i was in a bit of disappointment seeing the island with those trashes knowing that the fees there are higher than other beaches around. i was expecting that the "care takers" would give time to clean whatever traces was left.
and of course, i got disappointed by how the boatman treat our group. he is kinda rude trying to extract some more money from us. they are claiming that they are legit in "barangay".but of course, we didn't allow it to happen. simple tip: don't let those boatman terrify you. and don't forget to get the barangay staff contact numbers.
im not saying that all boatmans there are rude, many are good. this is just based on my experience.

The water is Lovely 😍👌👍💜. It's about 30mins to reach it from Anilao Discovery Bay. Nothing much to do. But enjoy clear blue water 😍.

This hidden diving gem on the quiet side of Anilao has spectacular, unspoiled reefs with beautiful soft and hard corals. Ask you dive instructor to take you that extra few kilometers to get better diving - you deserve it. One of these local divers that can arrange this is Allan Umali. He knows all the good spots because he has been a dive master there for years. Currently, he also spends time in Corone for wreck diving.

The lisland has nothing to offer else than a massive rock surrounded by the sea with a very small beach.
Other than that however has a very good diving spot around 20 meters depth with low currents ideal for easily enjoying corals and small colorful fish, specially nice if you are underwater photographer.

Beach - clean, rocky and with corals. You have to wear aqua shoes. Try walking and exploring. There is a part where the sand is fine.

How much is the boat ride for 8pax? How much is the entrance fee and is there an environmental fee to pay aside from the entrance and cottage?

The Last time we Stayed at Anilao Discovery Bay, they had a speedboat. When I asked how much, it was 7k+.. And the Capacity of the speedboat was 20 pax. And they said it's still the same price even if there's only 2 people on board :). It includes Island Hopping and Diving. But that was february. But try to ask Boat Men around the area. It might be Cheaper :). Hope this Help. Goodluck. Have fun :)
