Arkansas Trout Fishing Outfitter Guide Service Guided Arkansas (one day) trout fishing trips on the White River and overnight (two day or more) fishing camp trips on our private 15 Acre island in the White River. Buffalo River wilderness area bass fishing trips and fishing camp trips. All trips are fully outfitted by us. Guides, fishing gear, camping gear (wall tents, cots, etc.), food and cooks are all included.On our one day (or half day) trips you don't just fish in the vicinity of our dock (called "fishing local"). On our usual "full day" trip, you fish 14 miles and on our usual "half day" you fish 10 miles of the White River. We then "pick you up" (along with your guides and Jon boats) and bring you back to our dock location in Cotter in our Suburbans and/or vans.Covering this larger portion of the river gives your guide the opportunity to get you to more "holes" (deeper areas) of the river where the guide knows the trout are likely to be. Catching 30 - 40 trout per day per person is not unusual. You can only keep five.If you prefer not to fish, we also do site-seeing trips the same way. Try our Shore Lunch of bacon and tomato sandwiches, black-eyed peas, hush-puppies, french fries and strawberry shortcake or banana pudding along with your freshly caught trout! This is all cooked by your guide along the riverbank over a charcoal fire.

If you want a memorable, world class trout fishing experience, I recommend the Cotter Trout Dock in Cotter, Arkansas. Start by checking out the website. It is detailed, complete and tells you everything you need to know. My sisters and I chose the full day experience with the shore lunch and we didn’t regret it. This was our first time trout fishing, but, our guide Phil helped us keep our hooks baited, lines untangled, casted and hooks in the water. He also taught us a lot about the art and science of trout fishing. And believe or not we caught many beautiful rainbow trout. Phil fried some up for us at lunch and we took the rest home already gutted, on ice and ready to grill up for dinner. The White River is an experience all in itself. It is crystal clear, you can easily see the fish swimming by the boat and there are blue herons, eagles nests and other birds along the shoreline. The price is reasonable for what you get with some surprising extras thrown in provided by Miss Debbie.

I would highly recommend Cotter Trout Dock, they were all super friendly and helpful. Our guide Jerry, put us on fish and was very friendly. We had never been Trout fishing before, he explained what and how we needed to fish and in no time we were catching trout! It was a great experience and will book with them again next time we are in town.

Excellent service, thank you Cotter Trout Dock. The onshore hospitality was outstanding, as was the guided fishing - both in terms of Elvin putting us on the fish and being helpful in catching and landing them if they were of the appropriate size for the table. We released many, many fish, while retaining our limit to feed our entire group of nine on a fresh trout meal.

Great service and great guided! We went for 1/2 day with Doug. He really put us on the fish! We caught two brown trout one which was 28 1/2 inches long and weighed 8 1/2 pounds. The other brown trout was about 2 pounds. We caught our limit of rainbow trout that were good size counting the fish we brought home we probably caught around 30 trout, a couple were cutthroats. We had a great time.

This is our second time booking a two-day overnight camp and fishing trip with Cotter Trout Dock. They are much like the White River, they never disappoint. Everything from booking to getting on the boat and fishing is amazing. Our cook for the last two trips is very impressive and you will not go hungry in any way. The fishing is fantastic, and you will enjoy every bit if you book with Cotter Trout Dock.

My son wanted to go trout fishing for his birthday, and I booked a guide through Debbie at the Cotter Trout Dock. Our experience couldn't have been any better. She placed us with a guide that was great with my boys (10&7). We caught 45 trout in under 3 hours. When we returned, Debbie had a cake for my son. It was incredible, and we made some awesome memories. Will definitely be back.

Rain was forecast, so my wife backed out, but my guide Paul and I had a great half-day trip.
He put me on a lot of fish and the rain didn’t start until the last hour of the trip, and it was a light rain.
I highly recommend them if you want a great fishing trip on the white river.

Cotter Trout dock is always a great experience! We just went on our second three day trip with Erik and his son Brandon. It was amazing! Miss Debbie and her son greet you upon arrival at the dock. They are both so kind and genuine! The box lunches and shore lunch are so yummy!! Debbie’s hush puppy mix is the best treat ever!! We love our time on the river fishing and making memories. Both guides put us on great fish and know the river like the back of their hand. We love how stress free it is going with a guided service since the river can be so unpredictable with water flow and we are not familiar with the area. (We only come once a year). Cotter trout dock is the BEST! Look no further and book now you wont find better folks to experience fishing the beautiful White river with.

We had a really good time. We called Debbie and she set up our fishing trip with Jerry our guide and a great picnic lunch. Jerry was very personable, and we had fun catching trout and visiting with him. Debbie is on top of her game and we appreciate all she did.

Best fishing trip ever, treated like royalty. Every wish or want was met without asking. Elvin knows the river and the fish, I caught so many I had to ask him to let me rest. We caught Rainbow, Brown and Cutthroat trout. Elvin will tailor your fishing for a specific species and will be successful. Overall from Debbie at the store to Elvin the quide this was the best trip I have ever been on.
