Arkansas Trout Fishing Outfitter Guide Service Guided Arkansas (one day) trout fishing trips on the White River and overnight (two day or more) fishing camp trips on our private 15 Acre island in the White River. Buffalo River wilderness area bass fishing trips and fishing camp trips. All trips are fully outfitted by us. Guides, fishing gear, camping gear (wall tents, cots, etc.), food and cooks are all included.On our one day (or half day) trips you don't just fish in the vicinity of our dock (called "fishing local"). On our usual "full day" trip, you fish 14 miles and on our usual "half day" you fish 10 miles of the White River. We then "pick you up" (along with your guides and Jon boats) and bring you back to our dock location in Cotter in our Suburbans and/or vans.Covering this larger portion of the river gives your guide the opportunity to get you to more "holes" (deeper areas) of the river where the guide knows the trout are likely to be. Catching 30 - 40 trout per day per person is not unusual. You can only keep five.If you prefer not to fish, we also do site-seeing trips the same way. Try our Shore Lunch of bacon and tomato sandwiches, black-eyed peas, hush-puppies, french fries and strawberry shortcake or banana pudding along with your freshly caught trout! This is all cooked by your guide along the riverbank over a charcoal fire.

My father and I had a fantastic time with the great people of the Cotter Trout Dock. Debbie & Dylan handled all the details checking us in, and Paul was a friendly and knowledgeable guide who was full of helpful hints and plenty of patience for a newbie like me.
Once the cool morning fog burned off, it was a picture- perfect day and the rainbows and browns wouldn't stop biting!
Thank you for a wonderful time. We will be back!

Eric and Doug are great guides. They took us to spots where we caught trout as soon as our lines were in. Debbie took photos of us and sent us a calendar of us for next year. The people at Cotter Trout Dock are so friendly and professional. The White River is a great place to fish. And, if you really want the total experience, make sure you get the Shore Lunch. Catch your fish and eat it at noon! We'll be back next August when we are in the area.

We have used this guide service for years. Everyone from the owners to the guides are such nice people. The guides really go to a lot of effort to make sure you catch fish, while being friendly, chatty companions.

Great morning of fishing and enjoying the scenery and weather. Dakota did a great job at finding the trout, caught one almost every time I threw my line. Shore lunch was such a treat, thoroughly enjoyed the fish and sides.

Our guide Elvin was so knowledgeable!! I had a lot of questions. Elvin answered them all. This was my second visit and I plan on more in the future.
We listened to Elvin and we caught fish in fact we caught our limit in less than 2 hrs. Then it was catch and release. My buddy came from Tulsa, OK area which is a 4-4/12 drive. Before lunch he was already saying this will an annual trip in not bi -annual!!

Cotter Trout Dock is family run and was the most amazing experience on the White River. Debbie and her son, Dylan, were just amazing, kind, and genuinely wanted to make sure we had the best fishing trip.
Our guide, Doug, knew the river and took his time to put us on Rainbows and Browns. Once we caught our Rainbow limit, we started fishing for Browns. Our son caught a trophy 28" Brown trout.
We had the BEST time and look forward to going back!
