This venue never fails to deliver. The main stage has about 400 seats and is perfect for most shows. There is capability for a small amount of standing as well. The majority of workers are volunteers and they work tirelessly to help all patrons. From welcoming you and guiding you to parking spaces to ensuring you find your seat in the auditorium, nothing is too much. They are a dedicated band of volunteers and are very much appreciated. The second, smaller room was not in use on our most recent visit (holds around 80 people in seats) so parking was fine. If both rooms are in use then you need to get there a bit early to ensure you are parked up in time. Prices are always competitive and parking is free. The venue needs the support of those watching shows there as new local residents (in new build houses) are trying to impact operations and even trying to get it closed down. This would be a travesty, especially as the venue has been there well over 50 years and is truly an amazing place to watch music, comedy, pantomimes amongst the shows they put on.

Went to see Fairport Convention. Both me and my missus are a bit creaky on the pins, but the staff couldn't do enough for us, even getting us drinks from the bar. Great seats too and a sizeable car park with Disabled Parking.

Wonderful relaxed vibe. Staff all very helpful and very friendly, ensuring that we all had a good time. Saw Ian Sone in the small and intimate Stage 2. Drinks reasonably priced. Our first visit. Won’t be out last (and we don’t live locally).

Terrific night of music, great venue. The staff were excellent, highly recommended. One gripe, as I was driving I bought a Zero Guinness . £7 for a can! A bit of profiteering methinks. Once bitten twice shy, won’t be having any more of that! Overall great night.
