The park is wonderful, but you only get to see it in a bus with at least 20 people, poor view and lots of noise. If there are not enough people, the bus will not leave, unless you pay more money. And as a foreign tourist you pay 10 times more anyway. This was a major disappointment as a safari... More

Wow bike trip especially in the early morning or evening sunset timing was awesome and so adventurous. Chances of spotting wild animals in the sanctuary trekking road itself. Very good place.

This is a huge reserve consisting of mountains, forests, waterfalls, dams, reservoirs and ofcourse plants trees and animals. Topslip seems to be the focal point and no private vehicles are allowed beyond a certain point. One has to buy tickets and travel in Forest department vehicles. Wild life that we spotted were Sambar deer, Malabar giant squirrel, Peacocks and langurs.... More

We crossed the park on our way to Valparai, it is fantastic. We saw elephants, langurs, malabar giant squirels and great trees, that are now in flower...I recomend this paradise.

This part of sanctuary is well maintained and we saw an Elephant family while traveling to Munnar. The State Highway 17 is one of the best routes in India.

It is called top slip located near Pollachi. Nice lush green scenic place. Could not visit wild life sanctuary as forest department vehicles were full and denied us trips. Only few trips are organised as they have limited vehicles

Also called Top Slip the place is located on the western ghats. The famous attractions here are the elephant ride and elephant refreshment camps(on seasons). There is also a forest ranger camp that has a museum showing exhibits of preserved animals. It has rare species, but the place could have been maintained properly.

This whole stretch of forest area overlaps Tamil Nadu and Kerala state. The area within Tamil Nadu, Topslip being the area name is called Indira Gandhi Wildlife Santuary and it is called Parambikulam Tiger reserve within Kerala state. This place has good stay areas and the food is also good. They organise safari but only in the government owned vans.... More

Things I remember from the trip: 1. A jungle tour in Forest Department's van. They have about 3 vans and will send you in batches of about 25 per van. So if there are too many people, you might have to wait a long time. The vans will travel through the mountain roads and stop at a tribal village. There... More
