I have been here a couple of times over the last 3 weeks. Fantastic views from up here.
You can see as far as Brownhills, West Bromwich, Birmingham. Nice quiet place to get away for an hour. Definitely worth a visit.
You can get a good view of the West Midlands conurbation from here and then looking the opposite way you can see rural Staffordshire. You can have a reasonable walk on the Beacon, but note it can be cold and windy on a winter's day
This place is absolutely fab for picnics and for kite flying
Scenery is very good so you can see for miles and miles on a clear day
Advice for visitors take binoculars for a better view
Highly recommended for fresh air
