What Makes It Special
Cosmic Cavern was discovered in 1845, but wasn'€™t developed until 1927. The cave features a 9 foot soda straw the longest known in the Ozarks, and two bottomless lakes. One of the lakes was discovered in 1993 in the "Silent Splendor" section which made national news. This was Arkansas’ most delicate discovery. Make sure to bring your camera! Gift Shop, Snacks, Picnic area and camping available.

Great guide and good tour. Stairs are very steep so if someone has mobility issues it might be tough. Also some places are a tight squeeze so obese people probably wont enjoy it.

I live here locally and always take my out of town visitors to Cosmic. Despite having been here many times it never ceases to delight me. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I'm a fan of caves and have toured caves all over this country....More

We were lucky enough to just have us with a tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. The cave itself was spectacular and I enjoyed exploring it. The steps could be a bit treacherous, but she encouraged us to take our time going down...More

Stopped here on our way from Branson to eureka springs. Doug, our tour guide was fabulous. Lots of interesting facts and beautiful formations. Definitely a great place to stop!

The tour was fantastic and very informative. There were lots of stairs and several low places that required my very tall husband to hunch over to walk through. Overall, very good and well worth the admission

We love to tour caves, but this one was not one of our favorites. The tour was too long for what you actually got to see because the tour guide talked way too much. Of course there are amazing things to see inside, but not...More

My husband and I took our 3 grandsons on the cave tour. We all enjoyed our tour and we feel the price is very fair. Anyone who is elderly and/or has physical disabilities, or other factors that could interfere with going up and down stairs...More

Went here for mother's day with our teen. Such a good experience for all ages! Tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Prices were good! A little over an hr tour! Would recommend this to any of all ages!

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the cave. It was a very interesting cave. I was amazed that it is privately owned. They are working to see if it is bigger than what they have found so far, that's really cool to see.
