Cosmic Cavern was discovered in 1845, but wasn'€™t developed until 1927. The cave features a 9 foot soda straw the longest known in the Ozarks, and two bottomless lakes. One of the lakes was discovered in 1993 in the "Silent Splendor" section which made national news. This was Arkansas’ most delicate discovery. Make sure to bring your camera! Gift Shop, Snacks, Picnic area and camping available.

My husband and I LOVE going to different caverns, and caves. We enjoyed this tour but felt that the tour guide dragged the tour out. Enjoyed the fact the the tour group was small. This tour is very expensive. It cost the two of us $29.00. Felt it wasn't worth that .

It's not often we travel through privately owned caverns, and this one was incredible. Our guide Jo was full of information and stories about the cavern past and present, and made the tour quite enjoyable.

Cosmic Cavern was recommended to us by someone as a place to visit. Enjoyed the experience. Caves/caverns are great to visit on a hot September day in AR. The cavern is always about 60 degrees. This cavern is privately owned and on a fault line. It is neat to learn things about this cave. It is done well and has... More

Husband and I took 12 yr old and 7 yr old. It was a big hit with our family. Loved to hear the tour guide's history lesson of the property, geology of what we were looking at, and appreciated the rustic amenities. Too often these natural wonders are "over safetyfied" and lose the integrity of what they were showcasing. We... More

Thanks for the great response. That is one of the best written reviews we’ve had and I totally agree with the oversafetyfication of so many places, especially government caves. We do make sure all walkways and everything in the cave is safe for all and constantly work to improve the trails and lighting. Keep checking on us. We like the... More

The cavern is awe inspiring, and the guide was polite, knowledgable, and obviously enthusiastic about what she does. I recommend anyone visiting Arkansas visit the Cosmic Caverns.

So I've been on several cave tours and always wanted a little more of a spelunking experience. I was in the area on vacation and called around looking for a group to join as I was on my own for caving. I left my name and number with cosmic to see if they could fit me in. Within the hour... More

I was very pleased with our visit! Our guide was very knowledgable and funny! There are a couple tight squeezes but nothing you couldn't stand for and there was a bridge that was high and made my fear of heights flare up! There are several stairs and they are very steep! Great experience!
