A must see in Bentonville for anyone who loves art and/or architecture. The museum is a gem. We especially enjoyed the Warhol and Wyeth special exhibits. Who knew that Warhol painted so many animals?

We dropped by on our way through Bentonville, and glad we did. The museum is in a beautiful setting and the architecture is stunning. Enjoyed the way the artwork was laid out to show the progression from early american to current art. I wish it had not been so hot and humid as we would have toured the grounds on... More

Very impressed the building and grounds are beautiful. Loved the exhibits. There was a special Andy Warhol and Jamie Wyeth exhibit that was awesome.

The stellar art collection follows the history of art in America, from the 1600s to the present. There are several interesting walking/hiking trails with sculpture interspersed among the attractive landscape. The museum building itself is a magnificent space encircling a small lake, showcasing the spectacular Ozarks scenery. There are rotating exhibits at a small cost throughout the year; we were... Visited Crystal Bridges on a rainy Wednesday. Quite busy, but the museum is big enough so that crowds don't interfere much with enjoyment (except in the restaurant -- see below). The design is ring-shaped -- start to the right of the entrance, and end up back at the entrance. You can't get lost, and you can see everything except the... More

This is a beautiful museum, one of the nicest I have been to, including the Smithsonians. I can't wait to visit again. The American art exhibits (permanent) are phenomenal and not to be missed.

Great place to visit and free. There are exhibits that rotate out that have a small fee. There is definitely something for any taste. Even the architecture is something to admire.

This is a fairly impressive collection of American art along with a few other exhibits. The gardens surrounding the museum are beautiful as well and certainly warrant a walk through. For this reason, I would recommend going during a time of year or time of day that would be conducive for a nice stroll outside. Also, there is a large... More

This museum was recommended to us by a tour guide in Little Rock. So glad we drove to Bentonville to visit it! As the name says, it is all American art, dating back to the 1800's. Beautifully done museum with easy access for everyone. The grounds are beautiful too. The American art portion of the museum is free, a small... More

Crystal Bridges is simply extraordinary. The museum is sited on beautiful grounds and the entry drive presents your first glimpse of something very special to come. The entire staff is welcoming and determined that you feel comfortable. The special exhibits of Warhol and of Jamie Wyeth are incredible. All of the outside sculptures and the inside exhibits are wonderfully presented.... More
