There's not a lot to see beyond some plaques explaining the river's history and development, but if you're in downtown Yuma, the park is worth a visit.

This is a very nice linear park in the downtown historic district of Yuma. Facilities include a picnic area with grills, fishing pier, playground, beach and restrooms. Parking is free. We stayed at the Garden Inn adjacent to the park and were able to walk the paved trail along

We visited in January when the weather was beautiful but not too hot. It was a pleasant walk thru the park and up to the prison and back. This is another location that was well maintained. Would be great for a picnic or bike ride.

This is a riverside park that is ok for dogs, kids, bikes, and so on. There is the remnants of an old hobo park from the 1930's on site. Very well kept park with lots of parking. We did not have to pay anything to go.
