I moved to Yuma Arizona from the California coast about a year ago and was bummed because there's been no place to take my dog for a swim. At least not until I found Lake Mittry! I was pleasantly surprised to see the beautiful lake....More

This lake is a lot bigger than my son and I expected. It's an ideal fishing spot if you have a boat, and you can easily fish from the shore as well (that's what we did). There are jetties between Betty's Kitchen and the boat...More

Under a porgram to revitalize the area. Locals boat and fish in area but not a place for tourist. A lot of gravel roads.

Our outing to Mittry lake was enjoyed by about 25 of us where we gathered to have a wiener roast. The area we chose was sheltered from the wind so it was warm and comfortable to be out in this area.

We were looking forward to hiking - but nothing like that really exists here. Plenty of free campsites. Could be cool if you like to fish.

This is a very good park to relax, fish or for off roading. There are picnic tables available or just stop along the lake for a quite time. There are good boat launchs also. There is lots of waterfowl on the lake.

It's an out of the way location, but appears to be a favorite for Dry Camping, Fishing, and Boating. There is a good burger place at the dock area.
