What a wonderful memorial to our armed services. We had never known this was here. We are very patriotic people and enjoyed this park. Well worth your time to visit.
If you visit Williams head West on the main drag until the East and West bound roads come together. In a little park in the center is a statue of the founder of Williams. Interesting and adventurous life.
We almost missed the monument as it had snowed the day before and the trees and monument were covered. While many pass through to experience the Grand Canyon, it is vital to know why the town of Williams exists and how it began and grew. This monument helps you to realize these…
We enjoyed a picnic in this small park in the town of Williams. Interesting to read of the young local men who served their country.
Statue of the City of Williams founder and some history of the town. The City also has a small piece of the USS Arizona on display. I have been to the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbour and being retired Navy found this item special.
