right in the middle of town and worth a stop to understand the beginnings of Williams AZ . Great for photo and doesn't cost anything.

a quaint historic town with a great deal of history, thanks to Bill. There are several geocaches in the area along historic Route 66.

Bill Williams story is very interesting and his monument set in this small park is not in a prominent position. It needs more recognition than to set at the edge of town between two large roads.

Interesting to visit this little island in the road "park" which honors Bill Williams and their veterans. It's a shame it isn't at the entry of town instead of where it is so that more people could enjoy it.

Statue and brief history of Williams, AZ founder William Williams. At the other end of the park is a monument to all of Williams's soldiers that fought in past wars and conflicts.

Basically this was a nice walk from El Rancho Motel at the end of the Hwy 66 strip - round trip 40 minutes or so. I enjoyed reading the funky description of Bill Williams and there is a good monument dedicated to veterans. Also, nice benches to sit and view the sunset.

Not much of a monument or park, but it is a nice little area to sit and relax and take in the sites of historic Williams at the site of its founder
