We stopped here on a road trip through Arizona and it was awesome! We weren't sure what to expect, but the drive through ended up being about 50 minutes. We were surprised at how close the animals were and how many of each type were in each enclosure. Black bears, wolves, sheep, donkeys, bison, and deer...all up close! The wolves... More

This was my third time through. Love seeing the animals. Well cared for. It was off season and very quiet. Easy to take your time and enjoy the animals. Unlike the crowds in the summer or on winter break. Looking forward to the new hotel. I think it will be perfect for families.

Bearizona is a nice place to visit if you're looking for a relaxing enjoyable time with animals. We visited in February, so there was a bit of snow still on the ground, but not so much that you couldn't enjoy the bears and other animals. We drove through the park in our own vehicle and were able to stop for... More

Watch 1-year old baby bears in their enclosure playing chase, climbing the trees, or just watching you.

This was a most enjoyable side trip on our way to the Grand Canyon. The drive thru open animal enclosure was incredible. The bears are everywhere you look and there are deer, wolves, elk, big horn sheep, buffalo just to name a few of the animals that you can get an up close look at. It's wonderful to be able... More

We visited Bearizona on our way along 66. I thoroughly enjoyed our stop here as we listened to the in-car guide and trundled slowly through the route, watching the animals and taking pictures. We reached the end of the route and went into the park area, where there was lots more to see. We caught otters feeding time, and a... More

If you are in the area this is a MUST DO! We were here in winter and it had snowed. Bears only hibernate if they don't get food apparently, so they were all out and about. Terrific place to visit. Cant wait to go back.

We were out driving around the day after a snowstorm and stopped here on a whim. They let us drive our dogs through with us, but we had to keep the windows rolled up. Good plan, because you see a ton of big animals. We had so much fun. Mountain sheep, deer, burros, bear, wolves and buffalo, to name some... More

Some animals displayed signs of stress. In particular, the wolves and otters displayed behaviours which made me think their living space was too restrictive.

What surprising fun! I'd read the information, on the website, thoroughly and that is, highly, suggested. I learned that, in the months of Jan/Feb, there are no, "Birds of Prey" shows. We went anyway. We opted to take our large SUV...also, suggested. The animals were just amazing! Although, the bears were not very active, they, still, could be seen, in... More
