Horseback riding in Sedona

A good and easy ride through the desert. Our guide Amy was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I would recommend them.

Took the 3 hour ride. We were looking for a more challenging ride, and we got it, at the Wickenburg location. We were able to trot, lope and even do a little galloping. Saw hawks, squirrel, geckos, quail, a coyote, deer, and vultures - even a gold mine! Want to do another ride with them. I did a lot of... More

This was a private sunset ride that left from the office/stables just north of Cottonwood right off of 89A. A 15 minute drive from west Sedona (we were staying at Casa Sedona). This was a great Sunset ride. The trail meanders through open range where you can see wild life and have wide views of the surrounding area. Halfway through the... More

Went for the two hour ride. Cowboy Joe was a great guide. He had knowledge of the area and other insights. Was great at guiding a first timer we had with us. Would use this company again and next time do the Sedona tour.

John David Taylor was our guide in Cottonwood/Sedona. While he did not provide us with much history of the area, he was very personable and entertaining. We enjoyed listening to his cowboy stories throughout his life and the 2 hours just flew by. We would definitely go back there again. John David....you are the best! :)

This was a very irresponsible ride. Galloping up stone hills is not for beginners. I was the third to be thrown off a horse, but mine was in full gallop and threw me within inches of my death. I have 7 broken ribs and a fractured hip. I was in the hospital for 3 nights. The pain level is unbearable.... More

Candace was great! We stopped at the Cottonwood location while in town in Sedona. It was only one of a few times for me and my husbands first ever being on a horse. The location itself is definitely off the beaten path but it made for a very enjoyable experience. The horses were very calm and mellow for the inexperienced... More

Purchased a Groupon for a 2 hour ride. The guide was late & obviously hung over & still drinking ( he had more than orange juice in his water bottle). There were only 5 horses on the property & no one else there. We got to brush, saddle, bridle the horses which was fantastic! I learned a lot! My husband &... More

Enjoyed an exciting ride in Wickenburg with Charlie as our guide. The day started off a bit confusing and disorganized with schedule changes that we were not informed of, and of late arrivals. However, when we all set out, it was a most enjoyable ride. There were some in our group that were hesitant and afraid and the guide was... More

Three of us went on a one hour ride and we all enjoyed it very much. My 7 year old grandson was a little nervous as it was his first time riding but he was immediately comfortable and had a great time. We will definitely go again!
