My wife and I had a Grand Canyon Sunset Jeep Tour with their tour guide, Werner, on April 2nd. He was a very knowledgeable, passionate, and caring gentleman. He kept us entertained during the three-hour trip, provided us with tons of information of Grand Canyon Natives, mammals, insects, its rich history, geological transformations, and even took our pictures and provided us blankets. He also shared some amazing pictures of the interesting and rare aspects of this area from his personal experience. I recommend everyone to request a tour with him. He would deserve and appreciate good reviews and tips.

We went on two tours with the Grand Canyon Jeep and Safaris. The first was the Grand Canyon Flight and 4X4 Combo Tour. Renee was a tour guide for the 4X4 tour and she was excellent. She was knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon, and drove through the park, stopped to show us wildlife and so many scenic stops to view the majesty of the Grand Canyon. Renee has lived in the area for 17 years and lives
"off the grid" and had so many interesting stories. The 50 min flight was incredible and well worth the cost. I would recommend the audio you listen to during the flight be updated and give more information of the various points of interest and how the Grand Canyon was created.
We also took a sunset tour with Werner. He was outstanding. He had so much knowledge regarding the Canyon, how it was formed and shared an acronym to help us remember how it was created. D.U.D.E. He has a great sense of humor and shared many great photos, told interesting stories and provided excellent opportunities to view the canyon and so many great photo opps. He was a delight.

My husband I have never been to the Grand Canyon and we lucked out to have Nathan as our guide for our first experience. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable you can tell he truly enjoys what he does. He couldn’t have been nicer and we learned so much! I highly recommend taking a tour with these guys!

I didn't actually participate in any tours by this company but had a horrible experience with one of their tour guides. While my tour guide was dropping my party off she pulled up behind us and could not pass by. Instead of waiting the minute it would have taken for us to all get out of our vehicle, she immediately jumped out of her vehicle and started yelling at our tour guide to move so she could get by. It was totally unnecessary and unprofessional of her. It made everyone uncomfortable. We would have been out of her way in the time she took to yell at us. You are not just a representative of your company in front of your paying customers. As long as you are wearing the company name on your shirt and driving a company vehicle, you are a reflection of that company and it's values. If you go by how this lady acted then this company has some s**t values.

Thank you for taking the time to relay your experiences at the Grand Canyon. Our goal for the past 29 years at Grand Canyon Jeep Tours & Safaris has been to provide the very best tours and customer service possible to our customers. It is also our goal that every Grand Canyon visitor have a great experience at the Grand Canyon whether you choose to take a guided tour or not. These are also the values that we train our staff to have. We are sorry that you were witness to a disagreement between two guides from different companies. However, there are always two sides to a story. The guide from the company you toured with illegally parked to let his customers disembark, blocking the road and holding up traffic for numerous cars, which you may not have noticed while disembarking the vehicle from the opposite side. There was no driver in this vehicle at this time so our guide got out of her vehicle to see if she could locate the driver, whom she found outside his vehicle. Both guides had words but I believe they both were trying to do everything in their power to take care of their customers to the best of their abilities and this incident was an unfortunate mishap. Since you did not take our tour, you wouldn’t be able to comment on the content of the tour or on the values of this company, but I am sure you can appreciate that all parties involved had their customers’ best interest at heart with wanting to provide the very best service possible.

Had a great time with Mike on this tour. Very friendly and eager to share his knowledge of this beautiful place. Only problem on the tour was a couple who brought the mood of the bus down a bit, no fault of Mike or Grand Canyon Jeep tours. By the time the couple arrived late and delayed the tour start, the bus was comfortable being maskless in the breezy open Jeep. Even with flaps down, plenty of air moving through the seating area. The couple complained, as was their right, I suppose, but it brought the vibe down a bit. Why go on a close quarters outdoor tour, if you have a fear of getting sick? Anyway, would highly recommend going. If you get Mike, you score 100!

My husband, 18-year-old daughter and I did the sunset tour with Werner and it was fantastic! I had read that a jeep tour wasn't really necessary to see the Grand Canyon, but we had limited time and we didn't want to miss anything. Our experience was so much better because of this tour. Werner was one of the best guides we've had - he clearly enjoys his job and sharing his knowledge of the area. He was conscious of everyone in our group, and took time to answer questions and take photos. He also tried to stay ahead of the crowds, allowing us to take in the majestic beauty of the canyon. We saw wildlife and learned so much about the area. Money very well spent, highly recommend!

This was wonderfully fun! Our guide Werner was knowledgeable, informative, and entertaining. Our group included young children, a teenager, and adults - and we all had fun and laughed, along with the “oohs” and “aaahs” that one would expect on a Grand Canyon tour. The back roads part of the tour was incredible. The tour took about three hours and the last stop was to see the setting sun on the canyon walls. There were blankets available if you were cold and complimentary water. I would definitely recommend!

We had a great time on this tour our guide Werner was the best! We seen so many places that just going in as a tourist you would never get to see. Werner was so much fun with our group he is very Knowledgeable of the area and loved the pictures he show and stories he told. If we come back we will Definitely request him! Well worth the money.

Werner for life. He absolutely rocked in delivering personal information like stories and his experiences at the GC, and general park info. His touch made the experience even better. He did an incredible job of explaining all the ins and outs and making it entertaining. He is incredible respectful of the rules and regulations or the park and that made the tour feel reassuring. He was considerate to what the group wanted and offered different options and viewing points depending on our desires. Overall, incredible experience. Cant thank you guys enough. Just remember- DUDE!

Took this trip today, 6/13/2021 with Werner our tour guide. She did a wonderful job of answering our questions. She was very considerate to me since I was experience sciatic nerve pain. It is obvious that Renee loves her job. She has a wealth of knowledge about the canyon, geology, Native American people and the wildlife and forest. This was an amazing half day trip. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Well worth the trip. I would highly recommend doing this trip.

I think it would be wise to contact the company. For the actual driving portion of the trip it would probably be better to have your son sit in a booster or child carseat, definitely more comfortable and safer. The trip includes quite a bit of stopping and walking. I don't recall the jeep having enough space for wheel chair storage, unless it is collapsible. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

I think they do tours of the south rim at that time but I would call to verify. I know they close the north rim during the winter due to the weather.

We(2 of us) are staying at Bright Angel Lodge. It's quite far from the starting point for the tour. We don't have a car. Is there any departing point near the Lodge?
