We booked our three-day, two-night stay at Sirena Ranger Station through Kenneth. A day before we left, he came by our hotel to finalize arrangements, make sure he was meeting the needs and wants of our group of five. He was VERY flexible both in accommodations and pricing when some of our group ended up arriving half a day late.... More

Four of us arrived in Drake Bay on a Windstar cruise, and instead of going with the offered cruise tour, we hired Carlos Pacheco as our private guide. It was less expensive and we got a really inside hike through Corcovado, including swimming under a waterfall. Carlos is extremely experienced, fluent in English, and a terrific guy who knows everything... More

It was a good tour. Our guide did know a lot about the flora and fauna and carried a telescope so we could see birds up high we never even could have seen alone. We did see a Tapir, pigs, a green snake, lots of monkeys and birds. The lunch was good too. I booked the double tour so we... More

One can walk through a forst or in a forst. Here one wants to walk in this beautiful place, listening to the skittering of small creatures, smelling the scents of the flora, hearing the different bird calls, sighting the curious monkey, the shy anteater, the slow moving sloth. Jumping into the pool of the waterfall, sitting beneath its flowing waters,... More

Having read a number of reviews and evaluated options for long treks through the park, we decided to go for a 3 day/2 night tour from/to Drake Bay, staying both nights at Sirena station, in order to make the most of wildlife watching, rather than have to rush through the rainforest getting from A to B. We were not disappointed!... More

Our Corcovado trip was coordinated through our lodge (La Paloma). We saw just about everything that inhabits the jungle with the exception of the elusive wild cats. The best wildlife viewing in Costa Rica!

Corcavado is the untamed jungle. We had a great guide (Jose) who was able to quickly spot wildlife. He brought a spotting scope which he could also quickly set-up so we saw the wildlife in detail without disturbing them. Another great thing about Jose is that he was sensitive to everyone's abilities, and adjusted accordingly.

Having just completed this trip with Kenneth, only good things can be said. The boat trip to and from Corcovado provided us with an opportunity to observe whales an dolphins before our wildlife adventure had even begun. Loads of animals to be seen, and Kenneth's telescope and keen eye bring the jungle to life. Frogs, lizards, crocodiles, monkeys, more monkeys,... More
