Nauyaca Waterfalls is a totally Costa Rican owned family tourism company, dedicated for several years to tour operations. These are horseback riding tours, traveling through the farm that border with two impressive waterfalls from Rio Barucito.

These majestic waterfalls are one of the main attractions of the southern region in Costa Rica, not only for their natural scenic beauty, which offers the tourist moments of recreation and fun, but also to participate in different activities such as horseback ridign tours, swimming, climbing, jumping and to observe much of the beauty of the tropical rainforest, among others.

Nauyaca Waterfalls is the ideal place, not only for those in search of tranquility and nature, but also for adventure and excitement lovers.

They are a reference point for adventure ecotourism as they are recognized worldwide for their beauty and the excellent services they provide.

Imagine riding up the mountain on the back of experienced horses to the middle and bottom of one of the most beautiful water falls on this earth. Stopping along the way to enjoy local cuisine. Amazing day.

We opted to hike instead of ride horseback. It was very humid, but we really enjoyed taking it all in at our own pace. Halfway between the parking lot and the falls is a small soda, where you can buy a cold drink. The falls were absolutely breathtaking, and we definitely would come back! Well worth the admission and the... More

This is a great place for most ages. The access could be difficult for some people and the area around the falls was slippery. There are 3 options for getting to the falls. The horseback riding tour is from 8 am to 2 pm and cost $70 per person. It includes a guide, breakfast and lunch. So it is actually... More

Our family of 6 with 4 teenagers were all very happy we hiked to the waterfall instead of horseback riding. We purchased tickets for $8 each (no discount for student/youth) at the office with sign "Horseback Riding / Office". About 30 meters pass the office turn right to go down the unpaved road for about 2 km to the parking... More

Wow we scored on this trip. We have three young boys, 8, 6, and 3. We had our 3 year old ride with us. I can't imagine him on his own horse, but apparently he could have (crazy). Our group was just us and one couple. So we were done by 1. The ride is nice. There is no way... More

Amazing waterfall, great tour for kids and adults. You can jump from the top, scary but fun, the guides put a cord to help you get on the top.Guides are very friendly and professional. It has a nice pool. the kids love it. The lunch served on tour was delicious.

I wish I could remember our tour company! I have never been horseback riding and loved every minute of it. We rode our horses past the ranch (a new foal had been born that morning and we got to see her!) and into the rain forest. We had to cross a creek and then the river twice. The horses are... More

We hiked up, on our own. It is pretty much up hill the whole way. But it was completely worth it! When we arrived it had started raining and the few people there left. The rain quickly passed, and we had it all to our selves! I felt like we were dropped into a movie scene! Pictures do not do... More

What a perfect day to spend on holiday! Guides were friendly, helped lead my four year old on his won horse while giving me peace of mind... Horses looked well cared for and healthy. Breakfast and lunch were AMAZING! My picky eater ate three and a half pieces of the chicken they brought and two servings of the beans and... More

We've been on the Nayuca Waterfall trip at least 10 times since it's where we know we'll have a great time, great food, and everyone has fun. We've taken kids as young as 8 (ride 'em cowgirl!) and as old as 70+. David and his brothers are great trail bosses, and the horses are pleasant and well taken care of.... More
