If your not into caves, rocks and dirt...don't do it! For all others, it was a cool and one of the more inexpensive tour. We were surprised with all of the rates and fees in town for the various things to do. This mine tour was by far the coolest - temperature and fun aspect. I heard that an intermediate... More

For one thing....it was nice to get out of the heat! It was a real working silver mine at one time, and it was what founded Tombstone. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining.

History walking tour into mine. Great guide with historical facts about silver mining. took about 35 minutes. They have longer tours you can take.

It is one block off of the main street and was a very good side tour. The staff were very knowledgeable of the town and the mine. A lot of history tied in with the mine related to the beginning of the town. Very glad we took the tour. There is a sixty step stairs during the tour, but it... More

Guide was nice but the man that checked us in smelled like a brewery , some of the hard hats had duct tape holding them together or had big holes in them, safety did not seem big to these people

this tour is so cool! You get to go under tombstone, and see the incredible work done by miners over 100 years ago. The tour guide was so knowledgeable and passionate about the mines! it added a whole new level of history to this town. do not miss the mine tour, and tell Carey (one of the tour guys) that... More

not Australia, down under Tombstone. Seriously nice to go down into the mines and chill. I mean literally chill during a hot desert summer day. The tour and history were equally nice, entertaining, and quite educational. If you like history you'll like the mine tour, sign up and step down...

We took the tour underground with a guy who was very knowledgable and explained how the miners found the silver lodes and how they got it out. Back breaking stuff and they had to work by only candlelight at first, 6 days 10 hour shifts I think he said but a few got VERY rich.
