I wanted a good overview before I visited the local sites. Now mind you, I am a history nut and knew much of the lore of Tombstone. Dr. Jay was spot on in his descriptions, and opened new areas of history I did not know. He was not only knowledgeable, but entertaining as well. I would suggest anyone visiting Tombstone... More

Being a New Yorker who loves the theater along with an aficionado of Westerns and two Texans, we were marvelously surprised and astounded by the wealth of knowledge, the engaging demeanor and the attention to detail presented by Dr. Jay. This is one of the highlights of our trip through the Southwest. We traveled through Tombstone learning about the history... More

My husband and I visited Tombstone while on vacation and, having read positive reviews on TripAdvisor, we called Dr. Jay first thing. We were so happy we did! We met Dr. Jay at high noon, along with two other couples. Dr. Jay led us on a walking tour of Tombstone, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Dr. Jay is quite knowledgeable about... More

Dr. Jay and his wife Linda did a presentation at one of the luncheons of The Newcomers Club of Tucson. Their reputation preceded them, and we had over 100 members in attendance. Dr. Jay and Linda gave an amazing, entertaining, lively and interesting presentation on the history of Arizona and Tombstone. They are definitely consumate actors as well as historians.... More

Dr. Jay really made our trip. My wife and I brought our three children (all 12 years old) to Tombstone and the tour we booked withe Tombstone Walking Tours was the best thing we did. The time flew by making us wish we had more time to listen to Dr. Jay's stories. He was engaging, enthusiastic and fun. Our entire... More

My wife and I took Dr.Jay's walking tour this week and could not me more happy we did. He and his wife were very accommodating. Dr. Jay know everything about the town and was super entertaining. We can't wait to bring our kids back and take the tour again. I highly recommend taking Dr. Jay.

Our group of 10 long time Arizonans had a great time with Dr. Jay. Growing up in AZ, I recall what Tombstone was like in the 80s, when main street was paved with asphalt and the “attractions” were corny and myth based. Well the street is now covered with dirt and the attractions are still corny but they do a... More

We were three generations - kids, parents, grandmother and all of us had a great time! We review NYC theater events and loved the entertainment provided by this gifted storyteller of Tombstone. Dr Jay brought history to life and had a lovely message to impart: yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift - that is why... More
