This walking tour was informative, funny, and full of interesting details. Despite the cold, rainy weather, we unfortunately encountered, Dr Jay kept us engaged, entertained, and mainly dry. I would highly recommend this tour!.

Went on Dr. Jay's walking tour and had an excellent time. He is very knowledgeable of all of Tombstone's history and funny with his little "side" comments about certain times in the town's history. It is certainly a tour that everyone who goes to Tombstone should take because you learn so much about the town. He keeps your interest so that says a lot about the tour. Learned a lot about the town that never heard before. Our son works in tombstone so we have been there a couple times but could not book the tour before this year because of weather issues. Glad we did.

My best friend and I decided to book a walking tour with Dr Jay on the morning we arrived in Tombstone. He and Linda were able to accommodate us at the last minute. Their tour was not only very educational but a lot of fun. We highly recommend Dr Jay’s Tours to everyone who visits Tombstone. Joe & John

The tour was insightful and informative. We walked the short distances around tombstone and learned the true history of the town and the true history of the shootout at OK coral. Dr. Jay embodies the old west in his demeanor and his love of Tombstone, AZ. It was a fun tour.

Good and affordable. Loved being able to stop and shop in between spots of interest. However the gps and narration got a bit hung up at the last couple spots maybe due to connectivity as it’s not great in the area. But we still made it through. Just need to pause and unlock the gps lock to view map and restart. For this reason it cost us another 25 minutes or so.

Dr. Jay is well versed on the topic and history of Tombstone. He combines an entertaining and informative approach to his tour. Be prepared to walk the streets so dress accordingly. At the time of our visit, he only accepted cash, which was fine for us.

We really enjoyed this tour . It was relaxed, informative and great fun ! Highly recommend if you are in the area. Suggest you do the tour first and then decide what else you want to do afterwards. You may have covered it in the tour or you may get a discount for the next attraction from Dr Jay.

Our group had an excellent tour of Tombstone with Dr. Jay and Linda. It was both educational and entertaining. We highly recommend this to anyone visiting Tombstone. We will bring additional visitors who come to visit us in Arizona down to Tombstone to take this tour with Dr. Jay and Linda. Very good value and a lot of fun.

Even 'better' than the first time a few years ago. This time we took my wife's sister who is a big fan of 'Westerns,' but hadn't been to Tombstone. She - and we - enjoyed Dr. Jay's entertaining presentation and learned/re-learned so much!!

If you want to enjoy your Tombstone experience to the full, then look no further. Dr. Jay's walking tour is informative, very well run & very funny. He certainly knows how to entertain everyone. It's well worth the $18 per person charge. You get a real feel of how tough life was in this rugged land. Go ahead & book up . You won't be disappointed.

Would this be suitable to take 2 children under 3 or would you advise to wait a few years

Wait. The children would likely be very bored and not able to keep up and you would not be able to enjoy the tour. There were no children on the tour I took and I saw very few this age in Tombstone.

How long is the tour I can walk ok but if standing for any length of time I need to sit will this be possible

The tour does require a lot of standing, and there is only limited bench seating on the streets of Tombstone. Also, though I don't recall the exact length of the tour, I'm sure it was over an hour. You may want to look into a trolley tour or horse-drawn carriage ride instead.

Tour times vary from day to day based upon demand and my availability. I work by appointment, and advance reservations are required. Because I am rated the #1 tour / activity on Trip Advisor, I can fill up quickly.
The tour is approximately a 90 minute stroll through history.
It is $20 per adult and reservations are required. Children aged 9 to 15 are $10.....eight and under free.
The day you have in mind, number in your party and cell phone number by return email will verify your tour and I will be happy to let you know where we start from.
Please note: Until we have your cell phone number to confirm this reservation, times and availability could change.
