One main reason! Dr. Jay shared with us the unsuspecting motive from one of his many, down-to-earth Tombstone tales of the Rip-roaring West! The Chinese had it all figured out! In an area of silver and gold mines, the workers would naturally have the precious metal dust on their clothing or in their pant cuffs. When the launderers would wash... More

I booked our tour months in advance due to the popularity of this tour. Dr. Jay quickly responded via email and was personable. When arriving at the meeting site, we immediately knew who was our tour guide, Dr. Jay was dressed according to historical Tombstone time period. A bonus for us was that on this particular day, he was filming... More

He and Miss Linda provide a tour that is fun, educational, and filled with the history I have cherished since I was a kid ( and that's a long time). They... More

Jay says he and his wife coined a phrase...edutainer and that is exactly what we got. It was real people in real situations. Most everyone that were "players" in tombstone were "bad" men. I... More

We had a great time on this tour! Recommend doing it if you want to learn about Tombstone! My kids are 7 and 9 and were fine with the amount of walking.

Everyone who visits Tombstone must take some time to take a tour with Dr. Jay. He is so obviously passionate about Tombstone and all the history it has to offer. A little eclectic, his enthusiasm shines through during his tour. I was a member of a specialized tour due to myself and the people I was with being a research... More
