COVID denial propaganda set ruined show
Aug 2021 • Friends
Extremely inappropriate (and completely irrelevant) COVID rant/"jokes" at the beginning of the show that ruined the entire experience.

Thank you for reminding me about my dead friends. I'm glad you folks haven't suffered loss and can be blissfully oblivious of the pain many of us (the family and friends of 600,000 Americans, and counting) have carried this past year and a half. I'm glad your big ol' guns scared that virus right away! But please consider than many in your audience have not been so lucky. That many of us are grieving from very, very real deaths. This is not something that "just a little hand washing" can solve.

(The rest of the show was mediocre. When we bought our tickets, they told us it was the "most historical" gun fight show in town, without any comedy or jokes. That was accurate. It was quite straightforward without much fanfare. Told stories of three different fights. Not quite boring but not especially engaging either.)

Make time to see this show!
Jul 2021
July 4th weekend, the wife and I were visiting Tombstone. We noticed a couple of cowboys in the street trying to get people to buy tickets for the shootout that was coming up. Warm and muggy outside vs. an air-conditioned theater. Plus, it really sounded like fun. So we bought our tickets. This wasn't your average, everyday staged shootout. They put on a great show and kept the crowd informed of the details of each scenario. Well worth the ticket price (which wasn't really that much!). We WILL go again!

Boring and painful to watch
May 2021 • Couples
The show started out with a political speech which was entirely inappropriate. Acting was mediocre and there were long pauses between the 3 skits. I thought about getting up and walking out but I toughed it out until the end. It was a waste of time and money.

Best show in Tombstone
Mar 2021 • Family
This is a great gunfight experience!
Reasonably priced, they strive for historical accuracy and it shows. The actors reenact several actual gunfights that occurred in Tombstone. All of the actors appear as genuine gunfighter down to the details of gun handling, dress, accents and manor. The small theater allows them to deliver their well rehearsed lines in natural volume and intonation. And the audience is invited up afterwards for some really great pictures!
If you only have time for one activity while visiting Tombstone, this is it.

Mixed Feelings
Dec 2020
The actors were really friendly before the show. They did allow for people to take their masks off as we were packed into the room. I would have rated it higher if we didn't sit for 12 minutes listening to a COVID/government rant before the 30 minute show started. If I would have know we would be subjected to listening to that, we would have not attended the gunfight. The show itself was fun and we enjoyed the actual show. The price of the show was well worth the money.

Super Fun, Priced Well
Jan 2021
Happened upon The Gunfight Palace first as we came into Tombstone. Priced well, the actors were super friendly and told an amazing story of the history of the town. Went with a couple of teenagers, they thought it was interesting. They welcome all ages, but the theater is a little small, so bringing a baby/small child may not be the best idea. A little loud (obviously, it's a gunfight reenactment). They did make sure to explain to the kiddos that everything they do is make-believe and no one gets hurt for real. Show lasts about 30 mins.

Most Authentic Gunfights in Tombstone
Nov 2020 • Couples
We were greeted by friendly actors in the street and welcomed warmly without COVID-19 Masks. Some shops insisted on face covers but we just skipped over them. Both sides of the Allen Street are lined with vendors and authentic buildings. We were four adults but small children didn’t see any blood during the three indoor gunfights that were played out. The description information was detailed while the plot became clear. Most people died because they were drunk and became rude/obnoxious/stupid until they caught a gun full of lead. I never felt fearful of the real Colt guns used. This place is a mecca of commerce. It felt great to stimulate their economy. “It is fun to spend money here.”

Indoor re-enactments.
Oct 2020 • Family
Great show, inside and air conditioning, and great historic re-enactments of lesser known shootouts that happened right here in Tombstone. Priced well for a 30 minute show. We loved it!

If you wear a mask to protect yourself and others - don't go here.
Oct 2020
Bought a ticket for the wife and I. When the show started the entire audience was subjected to a 15 minute anti-face mask, anti-social distance speech ("venting" as the owner put it). This is of course during the corona virus pandemic. Had I known that the owner was going to do this I wouldn't of bought the tickets - I seriously almost left within the first 5 minutes. Soo glad I stayed to watch , nothing like watching a bunch of drunk actors shoot blanks at each other while unable to tell a story. This is not a place for small children - if the children make any noises the actors stare at them in disapproval.
