Peaceful sandy beaches with shallow seas, great for families. The town is quiet with a few bars and restaurants, the beach cafe has lovely views.

If you want a quiet beach this is the place to go. Long stretches of sand with occasional beach bars. Not commercial so no umbrellas of sunbeds to hire so you need to take your own.

Yes there are places in Spain where in August you are not fighting for a place on the beach. We have been visiting Xeraco for over 30 years and it still does not disappoint. Wide beaches edged by sand dunes, excellent chirinquitos, paradise.
