Rolling Hills is exactly that...rolling hills! It is well maintained and fun course to walk or ride. I find it to be a great alternative to other courses in the area because you... read more

Certainly was hard to find an open course right now. Today I chose Rolling Hills Golf Course, which is right next to the Papago Mountains in Tempe for an early morning Tee Time. The Bag drop wasn’t labeled but not too hard to find. It really isn’t located conveniently to stop your car and drop your bag, but I managed... More

Tee boxes, greens and main sections of fairways were in pretty good condition but the rest was awful. We did learn they will be shutting down the end of April for major renovations, so it was understandable. At $26/round including cart, really couldn't complain. Still had a fun round.

Once a year is enough for this course. The staff is friendly and the parking lot is well located right off the main road. If you can hang on through the front nine there is a golf course on the back nine. Getting to the back requires suffer through pool table fairways and greens surround by dusty roughs. Remember, it's... More

We enjoyed our round of golf at Rolling Hills. The course was in nice shape and was a great course to work on your short game. We booked on GolfNow and got a good deal which included carts. The staff were friendly and the rate of play was just right ~ not rushing or waiting.

This is a well maintained Executive Golf course with friendly staff. The fairways and greens were in great shape but once off the fairways, it got into hard pan. The greens were tough - many crowned greens with lots of undulations. The Par 4s ranged from 230-315 yds so the focus is on your short game. Lots of wildlife -... More

Short municipal course. Hackers of all ages. Starter announces your party and tee time. Very easy to walk. Driving range and restaurant. Cheap beer. Place is packed. Degree of difficulty is easy. Work on the short game!

I'm here on vacation with friends, so a buddy booked this course. I wasn't expecting a shorter course, so it threw me for a bit. Don't expect to break your driver out a bunch. At one point I think there 5 par 3's in a row on the front nine. Overall the course was in great shape, the back 9... More

Been golfing at this course for the last couple of years. The course is challenging yet enjoyable. The staff is awesome. Very friendly and always in a great mood. Always enjoyable to hear the birds from the zoo when you are on the third fairway.

Your short game had better be intact when you set foot on this challenging par 3 course. I think I may have used my driver twice. Dont bother with a 4 wheeler, unless you need to. There is plenty of traffic to slow down the round and keeping up the intervals is no issue. This is a nice open course and... More
