We went to Spring training baseball, my cousin and his wife came from Texas to watch the Rangers play and we had a great time, while the teams were warming up they would hit balls into the outfield and once in a while they would toss a ball up to a kid standing there just waiting for a foul ball,... We have been to all the spring training ballparks, and several major league Arizona ballparks. We love this one. Food could be better. They used to serve Big City Red hotdogs that were awesome. Now the dogs are good, but not as great. More shade than most ballparks in Arizona.

Surprise Stadium is the Spring Training home of the 2015 World Champions Kansas City Royals and the AL West Division Champs, The Texas Rangers. During the month of March and sometimes late February, there is a game everyday. The Stadium seats over 10,000 fans including on the grass beyond the outfield fences. Most importantly, there are a large number of... More

Whether you are visiting our beautiful state of AZ or live here, take the time to see a game. Tickets are reasonable but also you can buy lawn space which is good with bigger families. With the Beautifully manicured grounds, your... More

This is a newer and well laid out stadium. Many of the seats are in the shade during spring training which is a plus. Also they offer a good variety of food options although you will pay typical stadium prices. Another plus is the parking is free and close to the ball park. One of our favorite stadiums to visit... Went there for some high school baseball games , they were from all around the country, and most of the players stay at our hotel next door at the Resience Inn !

The Surprise Stadium has a beautiful field! It is very well laid out, lots of room to walk around and not a bad seat no matter where you sit. The food however, is not worth writing about. Hot dogs are gross and they do not have a big menu selection at all. You are better off bringing in your unopened... More
