Surprise Stadium is a great place to watch professional Spring Training baseball games. We watched a Diamondbacks vs. Texas Rangers...the Diamondbacks won 11 to 9.
The staff are so customer focused and friendly. Kudos to the helpful parking lot staff, concession workers, and ushers. The bathrooms are clean, the beer is cold, and the sight lines are great!

Visited the ballpark for the Oregon State vs. Gonzaga baseball game. Plenty of parking (free for this activity) within easy walking distance. Great seating with all the seats having backs. Didn't sit in the outfield grass, but looked like a good spot to catch some sunshine. Looked like you could bring lunch in with you but they did check bags. Beers as usual, over priced. Sold mainly quart size domestics for like for $12. Too much beer to drink before it got warm and to expensive. But understand the high prices is to limit the idiots becoming bigger idiots. Seats all close to the field. Sat in a number of areas during the game and really liked the outfield left foul line where the seats are turned in towards the field.

What can I say. Any day in the ballpark is better than a day at work! Easy access. Beautiful field. Plenty of fan shopping booths. Net only extends to third base. We were in a seat where “hot fouls” came sizzling in. But, this was only a concern in the outfield seats. I would sit in the same section again. You just have to be alert. If you plan on talking through the game sit behind the infield where there is netting.

This was a return trip to watch the Royals play, having been there twice in past years. Very disappointed in the food concessions-fewer choices, and obscenely high prices for items identical to those at other spring training ballparks ($2-4 higher per item). On future trips we will watch the Royals play at another ballpark.

We went to the Texas Rangers’ spring training at Surprise Stadium. It was so much fun. We visited the practice fields early and watched the players practice. They were very willing to sign autographs and take pictures. The games at the stadium were fun in this clean, well-maintained stadium. There were plenty of food choices and a souvenir shop. Of course, food prices are a tad high but pretty common at sports venues. It was a great experience and we hope to go back next year.

Two of us decided late to catch the AFL game between Surprise and Glendale. Only a little more than 500 fans in a park which should hold several thousands. Great sight lines and reasonable ticket prices made for a wonderful experience. Recommended.

We enjoyed a rainy day at the park to watch the Rangers play the Giants. Even though the game was called at the 6th inning, we had a wonderful experience. Lots of photo ops (section 114), balls thrown to fans and team stores well supplied.

The Sundancer volunteers are so helpful! You feel welcome from the time you park- which is free for spring training! Not a bad seat in the house and lots of shade if you want it. Hotdogs are giant and delicious. One of the best spring training sites!

We visited this venue today with our children. The rangers played Team Venezuela. Good game. Clean atmosphere. Concessions left a lot to be desired with minimal choices. We stood by the Rangers bullpen. We witnessed R J Alvarez being rude to many young children asking for a souvenir ball. We finally left due to his rudeness. Obviously some players are not aware they are in the entertainment business. The reason they get to make millions a year is not only due to the talent they possess. It is due to the fans that are willing to spend hard earned dollars to support them. Disgusting!!
