This is a fun place with good sight lines for watching a spring training baseball game. It also has much better than usual available spots to watch players learn and train between games. A fun place to visit and learn about baseball.

Beautiful spring training stadium with good parking and plenty to eat. Above the right field foul line is an area where you can stand and see the whole field from the higher vantage point. It presents an interesting area to watch the game.

Texas Rangers and Kansas City share this stadium for spring training and it is beautiful. Small enough to see from everywhere, big enough to have a major league feel. Well located, easy parking. Great alternative to big city stadiums.

We had a good time at the game. A little slow getting in, but they did have a big crowd that day. Overall, very satisfied and will return.

Great park & location. The atmosphere was great and really enjoyed the funnel cakes and snow cones. First stadium before you get into town.

First off, there’s actually some shaded areas. Free parking is nice as well, and ticket prices are about average. The close proximity of the practice fields is nice for a change of pace too. Lots of opportunities there for autographs from willing minor leaguers.

As mentioned, there is plenty of shade at Surprise Stadium. Your best bet is 10-20 rows up especially behind home plate and out to third base.

Even numbered sections (on the 1B side). Closer you get to the OF, the longer the sun will stay on you. Also, way down the line on the 3B side (like sections 117-121) stay sunny.
