We drove by this store and decided to stop in. So glad we did! The owner is very nice, not pushy, and honest. Big selection and range of prices. All handmade Arizona jewelry, artwork, and variety of crafts. We then went to shops in Sedona and didn't find things as nice as in this shop. Highly recommend- thank you for the two beautiful Richard Gorman artwork!

This is a small shop up Oak Creek Canyon, not far from the switchbacks. Hoel's has been in business a long time and they focus on quality native American crafts and art.

Recommended for collectors or people who want a quick introduction to southwest art. Worth a stop.

Have bought many things over the years Pottery jewelry, kachinas. Each as described on the website and well exemplified in the photos. Delivery prompt, real art, not chachkas. Can not do better than Hoel's.

If you are looking for authentic Native American Artwork, Hoel's Indian Shop North of Sedona on 89A in Oak Creek Canyon is a must see. The owners know and buy directly from the artists. We have been coming here for years and have not been disappointed.

This shop is small but has a wonderful selection of Native American items. Their jewelry is outstanding and I'd highly recommend stopping by. They have both gold and silver jewelry items, with and without stones, and a wide range of prices. You are sure to find something you'll love! Awesome drive to get there also....the Oak Creek Canyon area is beautiful!

Over the years my wife and I have had the pleasure of purchasing various items from Carol at Hoel's Indian Shop north of Sedona on Hwy 89A. We have been travelling the southwest during the winters for the past 10 years and have a nice collection of weavings, jewelry and pueblo pottery. Hoel's has a wide variety of high quality and fairly priced SW merchandise for sale and they are in our "top 5" of places to shop in all of Arizona and New Mexico. Not to be missed! (Minnesota snowbirds). PS-More high quality merchandise per square foot than ANY shop we have ever visited.

Hoel's is a small family-run business off of Scenic Hwy 89A outside of Sedona. If you don't look for their sign, you could miss it as the business is set back from the road and behind trees. They have nice quality pieces (mostly jewelry) and their prices were fair. We compared a duplicate piece we found at Hoel's (same artist) with one in Garland's and the one at Garland's was priced $75 more. Needless to say, we purchased the one at Hoel's.

The shop is small; however, the displays and the number of pieces are amazing. There are exquisite necklaces, bracelets, rings, belts and other jewelry, mostly silver and turquoise. The pieces are very high quality items, many are older examples of "old Indian pawn". Some items are quite expensive, but nothing appears overpriced. There are also numerous items that can be considered affordable souvenirs. It is worth the visit just to see the collections. Baskets, Kachinas and other items compliment the jewelry.

This sweet store has a dazzling array of Native American items. The jewelry is simply stunning! I was in search of Zuni
fetishes and was thrilled with the selection. Can’t wait to go back to spend more time!! The owners were kind, knowledgeable and helpful.

We’ve been traveling through NM, and Az. At Hoel’s I ended up buying 3 pieces of jewelry and my husband is special ordering a bracelet from one of the Navajo artists through them. The selection is modest compared to other
stores but we love their inventory! All fairly priced and they give you a sheet with a description of the item and name of artist. Cool old building, in business since the 1940’s. You are dealing with the owners who are very knowledgeable and nice.
