- jeff jIndianapolis, Indiana3 contributionsGreat experience Glass BlowingJordan did great job teaching and explaining the process. There were 4 in the class and we all did something different. It was awesome to see the different steps for each one. This was a very hands on class that required no experience to make a beautiful piece to take home. This is a definite when you visit the area. You will not be disappointed. Great staff very friendly!Visited February 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten February 3, 2024

The owners are very talented and trained by the greats of glass. It is well worth your time to visit and buy some art glass. - Jill G.Granger, Indiana24 contributionsHighly RecommendWe booked a class to make our own item and left with a floppy bowl, two sucky bowls and a flower. This was, by far, one of the more unique experiences we’ve booked while on vacation, and it was well worth it! My husband, who was more or less along for the ride (his words) ended up loving it and thought it was incredibly cool. Austin was patient, kind, and funny—and he gave great restaurant recommendations, too! You will not regret booking this class and you’ll have a great souvenir whether you pick it up the next day or have it shipped. We are so happy that you and your husband enjoyed your time with Austin here at The Melting Point. That might seem like an exaggeration given the stunning outdoor beauty of Sedona, but it's true. We took this class with one other couple on 10/6/19- we went first and enjoyed the flowers we made. We stayed and watched (but we didn't have to) to see them make a pumpkin and a bowl. VERY COOL. But I must say- without Austin's excellent and fun personality, it wouldn't have been as fantastic. The experience plus Austin made it the best thing we did in Sedona. Thanks again. And don't forget to tip Austin! He deserves it. ~Holly from Knoxville, TN

Group of 5 of us 3 kids ages 23, 14 &15. Chris was AMAZING1. He helped us and was fun, patient, and made our safety his top priority. We shipped our items and can not wait to see them. You could choose different projects and we had 4 unique items in our 5 people - glass, paper weights, suki bowl and a flower. We were able to personalize with colors of our choice. We were able to pick the music and it made for a family favorite event during our trip. Chris is a wonderful teacher - he made sure we each were proud of our items. We were there in March so was not too hot even near the ovens. Great time to go…. If you are there for spring break book early. Sells out fast

While I was a bit nervous being around such hot materials, it was very safe and we were always comfortable there! Jordan was super knowledgable and fun! This could be a great family experience with older kids (no little ones) and the glass work in the gallery is absolutely amazing! I hope the fluted bowl I made for myself turns out as good!

This class was terrific, and my childhood dream came true. Jordan explained the whole process plus guided and assisted us through our Glass Flower production. He gave us the tools needed to make our one-of-a-kind glass flower. When we finished, the glass flower was still too hot to be taken home, so please bear in mind that you can pick up your creation the next day. Overall, Jordan was fun, and everything was easy to understand. The store was full of glass art, and it was hard not to buy anything. There were glass hummingbirds, pumpkins, bowls, pendants, necklaces, and countless more unique pieces. If you visit Sedona, you should include the Melting Point in your travel plans and bucket list, as well. Check out their glass art selection for the very best in unique or custom, handmade pieces locally made in Sedona. Shoutout to Jordan and Taby, you guys made our experience outstanding, and we will never forget this adventure.
