Snoopy Rock is one of the better known rock formations surrounding Sedona. However, you have to know where to look. You can't hike to it. You can see if while driving but for everyone else's safety, stop to look. Your best bet is somewhere in the vicinity to the "y." (It's where 89A and 179 meet at the roundabouts just south of Uptown. Look west. You'll see a larger, jagged rock formation with a smaller formation lower and to the right. That right formation is Snoopy Rock. He's lying on his back with Woodstock on his nose.…

a must see area at least once in your life. The pink jeep excursions were very professional and was a fantastic way seeing the mountain terrain.

We would not have known this was called Snoopy Rock if the lady at the Harley Davidson Store had not told us. I am so glad she did and told us the one beside it was called 'Lucy' and she was watching over Snoopy.

Snoopy Rock is just a cute rock formation to see while in Sedona. However it is just one of many to take in.

Able to see from town of Sedona and as drive through the town area. Beautiful to see as sat in restaurant in Sedona as well prior to sunset.
