Very rough unpaved road but beautiful views. Not many people take this backroads hence quiet and peaceful sightseeing.

The road has deteriorated badly over the past 5 years. There are now deep ruts and large boulders to navigate. Don't even think of doing this without a high clearance 4 wheel drive. Also if in a rental check the small print many of them...More

High profile vehicles are recommended? HA! this road is not maintained and will ruin your vehicle. Even the specially designed Pink Jeep Tours can barely traverse this road. If it doesn't ruin your car, your back and kidneys will never forgive you.

We went on Schnebly Hill Road as part of a Pink Jeep Tour with Duff as our host. He was such a great guide and terrific driver that we could enjoy the excitement knowing we were in expert hands!

We did a drive up Schnebly Hill road, not much to see and only a short drive before the road is blocked and only 4 wheelers (and apparently those who do tours) is allowed.

We rented a Jeep Rubicon for the day and this was our first stop. We were told the road had a reputation with the locals as being the worst in Sedona and that it's nickname was The Kidney Buster. Well it certainly lived up to...More

We traveled this road from I-17 west to Sedona and it was absolutely gorgeous. For the first few miles you travel through pine forest, then you start getting into junipers and gorgeous views. I'm not kidding, you see the red rock formations in absolute splendor...More

It is not that long a trip, probably do it in less than an hour, so go before you go!!!! Of course if you are going on a tour, they should be able to answer it for sure, but we have never seen any and we have taken it... More
