Not sure of the length as one brochure said 1.2 miles one way and another said 2.5 one way. I think it's in between. Hike gradually uphill in the canyon with wonderful red rock formations all around. Go back on the same trail.

The main trail is very nice, flat and easy. There is a natural arch in the canyon wall on the right hand side about 1/4 mile from the start of the trail. The trail leading up the arch is not well marked and is quite...More

Did this hike in the afternoon after hiking cathedral rock. It was a perfect second hike of the day, as it was less strenuous. Less peopled and quieter. Gorgeous rock formations to view from the canyon. A hike that was nicely paired for the day....More

We took this hike after doing Doe Mountain. It was a good choice and the hike was comparably easier. I would think the hike would be much more enjoyable if the stream bed had water. It was bone dry.

Got a good close view of the terrain around Sedona. Nice rocks and the trail was pretty gentle. Dusty, but what would you expect?

Nice little stroll in a cool little canyon. The little kids, seniors, etc will all do fine on this one.

Very nice fairly flat hike. We read some reviews that mentioned sunset and stargazing. They must have meant at the trailhead? The trail is fairly shaded and ends at the bottom of a canyon. Beautiful hike with the canyon walls around you but not for...More
