The Sedona airport is really fun to fly into if you have the opportunity. The restaurant is awesome with really good food and spectacular views. The "Airport Vortex" is also really cool with some good energy flows.

Awesome views any time of day! Recommend walking down along the trail from the top lookout point/parking lot to the knoll (if the first parking lot is full), as that definitely has better views as you can see so much more from one spot. Some...More

Easy to find, just go to the top of the airport road, and take in the scenic view. It is so beautiful. Can see the whole valley. You might want to go up several times, as the view changes dependent upon the weather.

The airport provide a large free parking area and a great viewing spot. If you are visiting the area this is a must stop.

We drove up airport road just before sunset to view the sunset. Absolutely gorgeous, but it is very busy. It can be hard to get a parking spot.

Short side trip south of main street 89A in Sedona, climbs a couple hundred feet to a spectacular lookout over the town and formations to the north and west. Half way down is a pull off where a short walk climbs to one of the...More

The outlook was very windy so it was hard to enjoy. Parking ok. Popular with locals. Up a twisting road road past airport.

I was not impressed with this place - unless you just want lunch/dinner at an airport. We went with the thought that we would see the sunset from a patio dinner - not true. We ended up just buying a cocktail (which was fabulous) and...More

Drive up towards the airport and there is a small parking area (Sign Says Airport Saddle). There is a trail there that goes up to the area to view Sedona. There is a lower trail to the right that is pretty easy and a trail...More

Fantastic view, especially if you take the time to climb up to the peak for the 360 view. It's a moderate climb up from the trailhead if you are steady on your feet. The restaurant at the top was good for breakfast. Found the vortex...More

The vortex parking lot is right by the vortex. You simply walk up a hill, about 100 ft high. Easy. The airport parking lot is about 1/4 mile up hill on the road from the vortex parking lot. There is a trail that leads down... More

There is one corner about 1/2 way up which would be a little tight if the traffic is heavy . It is next to the trail head., Which tends to get crowded.

Hello, Sedona has some awesome views. I suggest Red Rock Crossing which you can get to from Upper Red Rock Loop Road. This the the place where the typical photos are taken of Cathedral Rock, but it excellent for a family... More
